Enjoy your stay in one or both of these quaint cabins nestled just seven minutes and under three miles from historic downtown Fredericksburg, with easy access to all local attractions. The property consists of two private cabins, which can be rented together to accommodate up to four people, or booked separately for two.

The cabins are adorned with unique antique accentsthat make your stay in the Hill Country a rustic experience. They incorporate elements and materials from a local rural schoolhouse as well as a 1900's family barn, along with modern amenities such as 55” flat-screen televisions and king-sized beds. Each cabin also includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, table and WiFi- making your stay feel like a home away from home.

After enjoying your day visiting wineries, shopping on Main Street, sipping on locally produced wines and beer, and dining at one of the many restaurants that offer authentic German and Texas favorites, you can expect to relax on the spacious porch in front of a country view.

Located nearby is the owner's house and bakery, from which The Bakery Haus gets its name. You can expect complete privacy and some homemade treats- making your weekend at The Bakery Haus a truly sweet stay.

Note: Two friendly cats do live on the property, so if you are allergic, we ask that you consider other accommodations.

Things to be aware of:
1. The suite shares a common wall with the sister suite on the property.
2. The suite is approximately 150 feet from Highway 87 South, so you might experience some road noise.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

The location was great. Just far enough away from downtown to be quiet and close enough to be convenient. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Self check in was easy. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great place to stay.

WONDERFUL rustic cabin in a rural area of Texas Hill country. We stayed in the “German Chocolate” cabin for 4 nights during the solar eclipse and throughly enjoyed our stay. Easy 2 mile drive to Fredericksburg. Lovely baked goods waiting for us on our arrival, plus Sophie’s Bakery is right down the road where additional goodies are available! Would definitely stay here again!

Great parking and it was close to town. We loved it and had a really great time. Its small and simple which makes checking in and out super easy, there's not much to clean up. They had goodies waiting for us on arrival. It was just a really great experience, perfect location, and the price was very fair. Not negatives but here are some things to be aware of. If you're fussy about dirtying up your car its on a dirt road and parking is dirt/gravel. The cabin shares a wall with the cabin next to it if that might matter to you.

Very quaint cabin and perfect for our getaway. Just far enough out of town to not have a lot of traffic but also close enough to drive into town within 2-3 minutes. Host was very quick to respond to a phone call and answer our question. Definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed one night at the cabin. It was very, very clean and roomy, and more than met our expectations! Sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch was a very enjoyable treat. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Also, the distance from town is perfect: Not too far, but far enough to keep things nice and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Nice and quite place just of the highway. Probably only good for one person since it does not have a shareable bathroom. Overall it was nice and quite with Fredericksburg just a few minutes away.

We stayed at your little B&B on our 14th anniversary this year. We have been trying really hard to save money so we decided to see what economical reservations we could find. We were not disappointed. The one rm cottage was very clean and decorated sweetly and everything was just as it looked in the pictures. We greatly enjoyed our stay & do plan on going back again sometime in the near future. It just goes to show with B&Bs you definitely get what you pay for.Thank u for your kindness & hospitality.
