With 150 feet of shoreline, every part of this three-story log cabin provides easy access to the water and spectacular lake views. The home features floor-to-ceiling windows along the entire back, complemented by a wrap-around deck that spans both the main and lower levels. This special property was renovated in 2019 with updated kitchen appliances, new countertops, and beautifully remodeled bathrooms on the lowerlevel. The house is also furnished with all-new furniture and linens, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The Lodge is a 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, 6,500-square-foot cabin that sleeps up to 22 guests. Situated on a 2-acre lot, the property welcomes you with pathways leading to the private dock, allowing direct access to the water. Guests also enjoy a brand-new communal pool, shared with Azalea Retreat - The Cottage, with designated lounging areas for each house.

As you enter the log cabin, you're greeted by a stunning wood foyer, vaulted wood beam ceilings, and Italian tile-lined walls. Of course, the breathtaking lake views immediately steal the show! The open-concept living space features a two-story living room, kitchen, and dining area, all designed to bring the outdoors in. The living room is furnished with large leather sofas and offers two distinct seating areas. Relax by the custom stone wood fireplace, soak in the views, catch a movie, or enjoy a cozy evening by the fire.

The kitchen, fully renovated with new appliances, boasts a large granite island with bar seating. The dining area, highlighted by a stunning antler chandelier, seats 10 and offers the perfect spot for family meals. A custom-etched glass window with an artistic tree design lets in plenty of natural light, making the kitchen an inviting space for any occasion, from holiday meals to casual family dinners.

On the main level, you’ll find the Master Bedroom, which features its own private two-story fireplace, sliding glass doors leading to the deck, and stunning lake views. The custom closet with built-ins offers ample space for unpacking and unwinding in style.

Upstairs, the second story features a cozy loft area ideal for curling up with a book. This level also has two bedrooms with queen beds and a shared full bathroom. The loft’s landing is the perfect spot to watch Lake Norman’s unforgettable sunsets.

The lower level of Azalea Retreat - The Lodge is a family dream come true. It includes three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, as well as a game room with skeeball, shuffleboard, a custom stone fireplace, a TV with an Xbox, and a large sectional sofa for ultimate comfort. One of the lower-level bedrooms has both a king and a queen bed, its own fireplace, and a fully renovated en suite bathroom with a stand-alone shower and soaking tub. The lakeside bedroom features two built-in full-over-twin bunks and a small seating area with a pull-out sofa sleeper, perfect for a kids' sleepover. This room has access to a full bathroom off the lower-level living room. The final sleeping area on this level offers two queen beds and an attached full bathroom.

Both the decks and lower-level patio are equipped with Adirondack chairs, offering the perfect spot to relax by the lake. - If you choose to bring your own boat, there is no lift and the house is located on a busy channel.
- Spices/Oils, Etc: These items are not guaranteed. Sometimes they are left behind and available, but they are cleaned out regularly.
- The pool is shared with our other property, Azalea Retreat - The Cottage.
- The pool is available year-round, however, although it is not heated.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Please note that the fireplace in the main level living room of The Lodge may be used for wood burning. All other fireplaces are NOT for guest use.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.
- Please note, Wi-Fi is slow in this part of Lake Norman due to reliance on satellite internet.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
