Authentic NC Log Cabin~Pond View~Hot Tub~FRESH EGGS

Where to start. First, I would like to note that this home is on a MAJOR road. The photos depict an idyllic location, but this isn’t the case. The pond overlooks said major road and there’s quite a few homes also overlooking the pond. As for the breezeway “living room” behind the home, it’s difficult to enjoy it when all you hear are the cars on the road. Also worth noting, the breezeway is attached to another home and there’s construction being done on that home. Second, I appreciate that there was an entire coffee station, yet I couldn’t find one coffee mug anywhere. Also, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when I arrived. Upon entering the home, I noticed the back door was unlocked and kind of thought nothing of it until I went to leave the home and the front door knob fell off into my hand. I quickly realized there’s no way to lock the home so the previous occupant left out the back and kept the front door locked. I would have reached out to the owner of the property, except I already had and he was RUDE. I wasn’t in a hurry to have that experience again. Ever. Overall, I didn’t feel safe here and the photos don’t accurately reflect the listing. I personally would not stay here again.

We had a great time sitting outside playing games and watching tv. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The house was so cute and charming. Pictures don’t do it justice! Patrick was very responsive the one time we needed help with the blackstone.

The cabin was great, very cute and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay including the daily visits from the chickens and the cat.

Great place to stay. It was our third visit and will not be the last. The host are so gracious.

Absolutely adorable cabin that is conveniently located in Hendersonville. We loved the cabin itself as well as the breezeway (which really opens up the space).

this is the cutest cabin. host were awesome. cabin was very clean. enjoyed the outside area. flowers were so pretty. enjoyed the hot tub. you will love this cabin

Patrick and Diane are just SUPER all the way around. We have stayed in 2 of their 3 cabins (super deluxe) and will stay in the third next summer. Convenient to everything, yet private among their beautiful flowers and trees.

Property could use blinds in kitchen and some sort of drape/fence on driveway side to hide others sitting area (eventually garden area may cover it but not yet, and bthroom spray. We loved the outside kitties and geese. We never saw chickens but i assume they were around.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cabin is clean and restored beautifully! This property has beautiful gardens. We were given a private tour (our request) of the gardens by our hostess, Diane. She gave us tips on where to go in town. We also got to meet the goats and the cats were lovable and friendly. We ate fresh eggs that were provided, and Patrick started the grill for us. ❤️❤️ Being on the highway was perfect for us to go on jaunts during the day. The hot tub was fun to use as well. We would highly recommend.
