Please note that this home has a steep, gravel driveway with two sharp corners. Longer wheelbase vehicles may have to maneuver to make the two switchbacks in the driveway, or park below and walk up. Indoor smoking and pets are prohibited on this property. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. I enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful, calm, and quiet. The cabin was clean. We enjoyed ourselves and it was very relaxing. The only thing I would have enjoyed more is, if there was a fire pit outside. It’s a beautiful view and it would have been nice to be sitting out there cozy and warm. Will definitely stay again!
The house was beautiful! It met all expectations. It snowed one day and we were greeted by an elk that morning outside the front door. We would very much consider staying there again. Thank you Condotel.
The 1st appearance was a little scary. The drive way had a few inches of ice and snow on it and it is a pretty steep incline with 2 90 degree switchbacks. If we didn't have a 4 wheel drive there is no way we could have made it up. The cabin was pretty nice but was covered in bugs and spiders. An exterminator would of been nice. The views of the mountains were great. We did not see any animals such as deer or elk the whole time we were there maybe because the neighboring dogs barked the whole time and scared them away. Seeing the wildlife is the number one reason we go to Ruidoso and every other cabin we have stayed in had lots of wildlife in the front yards so we were a little disappointed with that. But, overall we had a good visit.
The property was cute once we got up the hill to it. The entrance is very steep and narrow with deep gravel that makes you slide trying to get up to it. Once we got inside the cabin there was no heat. Had to call for a repairman to come fix it. Lights over the kitchen table didn't work either so kitchen area was dim. I had to scrub and scrub a cookie sheet before I could cook a pizza it was so rusty and some of the drinking glasses had to be washed before using because of fingerprints on them. The beds were ok if you were tired but the pillows were totally flat. The bathrooms are tiny and cold with no space to place anything. The cabin was decorated cute and the outside area was nice. We will be hunting another place next visit for sure and I don't know why there is a $250,00 charge for housekeeping if you have to clean before and after you stay. Not impressed, sorry.
Rental exactly as advertised, very comfortable, incredible views of trees, mountains, & wildlife. Few minor things needing attention, but taken care of. Steep driveway but well worth it! Would definitely return.
This place is amazing! The cabin is beautiful! Very clean, everything you could possible need was there. The location provides a stunning view and it’s close by downtown and a couple of fishing spots. We will definitely be returning soon! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous cabin.
Will rent again
