We loved everything about the property. Our hands down favorite is the porch it is awesome.There was plenty of room and our adults loved the hot tub. We missed being able to play volleyball as the last storm must have torn up the net, but we found plenty more to do. Wonderful mini vacay! Excellent property!!! Full service marina one mile away. Excellent public boat ramp 1 and a quarter mile away. Plenty of room in cabin for 8 adults. Super nice kitchen and 2 large dining tables (1 indoors and one on porch! Highly recommend this space for a lake vacation! Lake Martin is a very large and beautiful lake! Oh, and did I mention the porch!❤️

The property is perfect for a nice family get together. Amazing property grounds. My family was able to enjoy the hot tub, swimming in the lake and also fishing. My husband was able to get his bass boat in the water on the property. The entire family completely enjoyed. will definitely rent again in the future.

Easy rental!

We stayed here for a week in March - it was myself, my pointer Jones, my dad Blaine, and my brother Zac. First and foremost, this property is extremely unique and feels like everything a true lakehouse should be in my mind. Growing up, we often stayed in cabins and cottages while on vacation, and this has a similar cozy feel while being SO MUCH BIGGER than a cabin or a cottage. The house and the property are both so unique. It's legitimately vintage (maybe even historic, in fact), and the location and property grounds are absolutely unbeatable. We communicated briefly via phone with both Shari and Aubrey to ask a question or two, and both of them were fantastic, responded immediately, and were just genuinely kind, warm, folks. We can't decide what we enjoyed best - watching the amazing sunsets, telling each other stories around the firepit at night, or enjoying the hot tub (because the weather was a tiny bit chilly for us Floridians). We will absolutely be back, without a doubt! The only thing we would change about it is that we would LOVE to see some history about the house and property, either added to the informative binder, or simply hanging on the walls of the house. We'd love to see photos of how it's changed over the years, and learn a bit about the undoubtedly neat family who built and own it. I'm glad it hasn't been torn apart and 'remodeled' to look just like everything else! Two thumbs way up, 5 out of 5 stars, and a very big 'thank you' to both Shari and Aubrey!

I rented Aubrey's Lakewood Cabin so that I could host my niece's Sweet 16 Birthday Party. I needed somewhere with enough space to entertain a lot of teenagers. The teens had an absolute blast! Some even got into the cold lake water, which I anticipated would happen! My family enjoyed the beauty of the well maintained property. We set up a game of cornhole and horseshoes on the beach area and waved at boaters that came by. The cabin was perfect and the screened-in porch came in handy with its two sleeping futons. In the evening, we enjoyed the fire pit area and the hot tub.I would recommend this property to everyone looking for a nice, quite, relaxing, getaway! Windy

The hot tub was very clean and worked well. The property was very private, quiet, and relaxing.

The house was comfy, nothing fancy, but the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The star of the show was the big screen porch and the grounds. Just lovely!!

Very unique property great for outdoor amenities but sleeping was a little different, with 3BRS in one hallway all sharing a small bathroom (2nd bathroom is outside on screened porch), but beds were comfortable & AC worked great! Outdoors there were steps down several directions to wrap-around seawall and multiple swimming opportunities we enjoyed!! Very cool-looking fire-pit area, but recommend bringing pop-out chairs, or others they have on property. Hot tub was great, also, but not very strong jets, yet still cozy & heated great. Wrap-around porch was really cool, and had a bench-swing, but could use better furniture in addition to that, otherwise wooden chairs. When I called, they were very responsive & nice!!

We rented this property several times years ago. It still didn’t disappoint. Wonderful cabin, fire pit, hot tub, swimming area…and that screen porch! Fully recommend for a restful time.

Loved the house and outdoor stone henge fire pit. Our favorite was the screened in wrap around porch! Rented a pontoon boat and spend the day on beautiful Lake Martin Will be coming back!Thank you Shari and Aubrey for sharing your wonderful home

Wonderful location and comfortable home! Large cement area going into the lake was great for grandkids. Planning to return next summer!

We had a great time and enjoyed the benefits of the property. The lake access was fantastic. The house was a bit dated and had several quirks which is the reason for only 4 stars.Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive. Wi-Fi was a bit slow and made remote work a small challenge (speed test showed 15mb down and 1.5mb up).Overall, a great time.

The property was nice just not what we were expecting

Great family weekend stay at Aubrey's cottage! The lot is absolutely perfect and I am pretty sure there is no other lot on the lake like this one. The cabin is so nostalgic of an original Lake Martin cabin. New refrigerator and oven with plenty of space. Bedrooms were all comfy and the beds on the sleeping porch were amazing. Clean cabin, clean lot and great communication with owner. We will come again!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We love the location on the lake. You won’t find a larger lake lot. Easy to park the boat and lots of space for swimming, relaxing and fishing.

The place was absolutely fantastic! The screened in porch was so wonderful to relax on and enjoy time with family. The amount of water front access you have is incredible and the steps down into the water are wonderful for accessing the lake. Its location to marinas and restaurants is wonderful as well. I would definitely stay here again!

As usual, we had a wonderful time enjoying Aubrey's cabin. The property is large enough that it allows for a variety of activities for just about any guest. We were able to enjoy the swimming dock, the protected swimming space by the sand bar, and the dock with our boat rental. When the rain rolled in we were able to enjoy the covered porch with no issues. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. We can't wait to come back for another visit, maybe in the fall this time.

The property is a beautiful location on Lake Martin. The view is amazing! The cabin is rustic but very welcoming! The porch is awesome!

The property is very large, located on a point with expansive, beautiful water views. Stayed in March and had deep water dock (lake level is lower in winter months). Hot tub was awesome. Internet and cable TV options worked great. Would like to come back during summer months.

We had the best time at Aubrey’s Cabin and can see why they have such great reviews and return visits from guests! It was probably the coldest and windiest day of the year for our first day and night, and the owner was so kind to deliver a few space heaters to ensure our comfort in the bedrooms. Plenty of kitchen supplies to dine in. The hot tub was amazing for our cold sunny days! Our group agreed that being at the cabin was like a step back in time, and we were able to creat so many fun memories over our 4 day stay. We will be back for sure! Thank you for such an accommodating, memorable and relaxing vacation!

The cabin was absolutely perfect. The location was excellent and the property being on the point was beautiful. The weather was cold and rainy but the last day was better and made for some nice sunrises and sunsets.

We had a family of 7 ages from 24 to 75. The place is just the right amount of rustic but still met all our needs. The hot tub made the chilly weather enjoyable and the view is beautiful no matter the temperature. Kitchen has all the tools needed to cook family size dinners. I do wish it had been noted the 2nd bath is accessible from the porch outside. Not a big problem and would be nice in the summer, however. We hope to stay again hopefully in the warmer months to enjoy the lake.

When we arrived the cabin had not be cleaned, the beds were unmade and still stripped with comforters in piles on them, unwashed/used towels were laying out on the night stand with no clean ones available. The handyman's car was parked on the boat ramp with a trailer attached and his keys in the ignition. At the time we didn't know who's it was, and being that he was out on the lake fishing in his kayak there was nobody around car around. (we arrived after dark so this was disconcerting). Ceiling tiles have water stains and the air are vents rusted. Stairs/steps to dock had one step completely missing, another step half gone; attachment to the dock cracked in three places and therefore needed us to use extreme caution when descending. I called the host and owner, they responded as quickly as possible and had cleaners over the same night... we went out to eat and when we came back the cleaners were finishing up and the towels were drying in the dryer. The handyman removed his vehicle and trailer. Sent pictures of the problems with the dock and were told that it would be fixed post our checkout. Host and owner very courteous and responsive to calls. Cabin location and vast property were great. However, cabin is dated and being that we arrived after the scheduled check-in time we did not expect to find what we did. My guess is this was not normal and was a culmination of unfortunate mistakes. The Host and owner worked to fix as quickly as they could.

We enjoyed our stay it was the perfect place for us. The view is great on the water overall it’s an awesome place to stay ! Can’t wait to book again

Such a beautiful place

We've stayed here many times and it's always a great experience. The cleanliness, convenience and location are excellent and it's easy to interact with the hosts. We look forward to more wonderful visits in the future!

This was a family affair, three cousins and family. One family has been coming to this property for the past 14 years, the last three they switched to next door, owners are related. This house was perfect for us. Only one bathroom inside, but that was not an issue for us. The other bathroom is in the laundry room, which also served a purpose since we were outside a lot and easier access. The shower worked just fine. Favorite part? Screened in porch. We had dinners out there. The lake water is so clear it is hard to fish. We fished off the boat dock. We would come back to this one in similar large group setting. OH, the futons on the porch were comfortable too. Although it was very hot while we were here, we were out there a little. Thank you for making this available. Lake Martin is huge and we did enjoy it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house itself was a but smaller than it looked online, but we made it work. It was very clean and easy to find. The best features is the surrounding property itself, especially the swimming area. We also loved the screened in porch despite it being so hot while we were there. It’s really beautiful there.

This is such a nice place to stay. The porch is screened in so you can hang out there all day. You have a beautiful view and lovely landscaping. I hope we can come back next summer.
