Overall, really enjoyed our experience. Home is very close to resorts and other local activities. Home was generally clean a bit drafty with cold air coming through some of the doors/windows, but probably only an issue for winter travelers. Hot tub and fireplace were great. Main complaint was the master bedroom mattress - it was very soft and dipped quite a bit in the middle, so I had to sleep downstairs instead. Other complaints not associated with this property: too many VRBO fees on top of the price of the rental; taking out trash at the end of the trip is very time consuming; hard to see the road markets/lines due to salt/weather.

Beds were very uncomfortable. The place is kind of dusty so my allergies were going nuts. I didn't like how we pay about 200 dollars for a cleaning fee yet we have to Clean up ourselves and dispose of the trash at a trash site. Overall stay was ok. I probably wouldn't spend almost 2k on this place again though

Great property in a great location. Everything was perfect except for the check in process. I checked in at Big Bear Vacation office at 4pm and they said they would text me the property address. Well, Ot took 20 minutes and two phone calls later that they finally sent me the address. It was a minor inconvenience after driving almost three hours to get to Big Bear. Other than that the cabin itself was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it!

The location was away from the busier parts of town in a very quiet neighborhood. The cabin was clean with perhaps the exception of the dusty deck, but then again this could just be nature. Similarly we were faced with plenty of moths inside the cabin at night. These were more of an annoyance than anything else. We had a pleasant stay overall.

We absolutely loved the cabin. Just a little tidbit. No paper towels. Not enough bathing towels. Extra blankets needed. Thank goodness we had brought our own personal blankets. We were freezing. Also the lighter needed to be replaced. These things were nothing we couldn’t deal with. So overall it was great. Checking in wasn’t so hot. Checking out was great

There were not enough towels, No wash cloths, the dish soap was enough for one day. No dish towels to dry the dishes. Not enough adequate pots to cook with. We found a lot of broken things in the house. The pillows were so flat/dirty covered by a pillow case. The blanket were so thin, thank God my brother brought blankets.

Really enjoyed the Arktos Jewel. The cabin is conveniently located but what made it so great was the tasteful mountain decor. The fireplace and hot tub were great too. We'll be back.
