This is a wonderful true cabin. It is nestled against the Shenandoah forest and National Park - very quiet and very dark at night!! You feel like you are Glamping in the Park. The cottage included a woodturning fireplace, (plus outdoor grill), excellent bathroom facilities, comfy bedroom and a complete kitchen....all with warm electric heat. The only downside was the lockbox key system which had us locked out for a time. Another fabulous aspect was all the antlers...antler lamps, drawer pulls and wallpaper. We think you would love this excellent cabin just a 10 minute drive from Luray and lots of grocery possibilities. Have fun!! Christine B

The house is very clean. Owners are very friendly. When we came after the long drive, we saw snack and water for us in to the kitchen. It was pleasure to stay at this house.

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed how quiet it was during our stay. Be aware that there are no toiletries in the shower so just make sure to throw some in your bag. I didn’t realize that there wouldn’t be any but we fortunately had some shampoo and conditioner with us so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Very clean; I have many allergies but had no problems with allergies in this cozy, comfortable cabin. Had everything we needed to make meals in the kitchen. Very peaceful, quiet, private. Enjoyed seeing deer in the front yard. Close to the entrance of Skyline Drive. Would choose to stay here again.

This cabin was extremely clean, and had everything we needed. I’ll admit, it was tucked more into town than expected (even though we did have the address and plotted distances just fine!), but we grew to enjoy the scenery and farms as we drove in and out. Amy was a great host, and we’d recommend this stay to anyone! We used it for access to Shenandoah, and it worked very nicely.

This was an awesome property; it was so clean and well maintained, our hosts were so welcoming and responsive, and it's secluded enough to feel very private while still being within easy distance of area attractions. Highly recommend!

The house is one of the nicest we have rented. So close to Shenandoah National Park, and remote enough to stargaze, with no light pollution, seeing the Milky Way so clearly!!! I highly recommend this rental highly! Mopvie lky

The cabin is beautifully situated at the base of the mountains. It is 10-12 minutes from downtown Luray. It has all the basics for a simple stay. While I realize that there are bound to be some insects that make their way inside a rural cabin, the number of bugs was more than I could handle. We must have killed half a dozen stink bugs each day, along with several spiders and other crawlers. One morning, we woke up to worms on the bedroom, kitchen, and living room floor! I'm not sure how the worms wiggled their way in, but the other bugs get in from an ill-fitting window A/C unit in the bedroom. The queen bed could use some repairs (we arrived to find sawdust and screws lying in the floor under the bed), and the mattress sinks. Internet access is spotty; sometimes it works well, while other times it doesn't work at all. It is difficult to get the GPS working when the internet is out.

Clean and neat cabin with everything you need for a stay. Plenty of nature around with the Shenandoah National Park close by as well as Arrowhead Lake. Luray offers the beautiful Hawksbill Greenway for walking, biking or running.

My child and I had a great experience at the cabin. It is located in a beautiful area between Luray Caverns and the Shenandoah National Park. The property was exactly as it was presented on VRBO. It is very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for making our trip so happy and memorable!
