An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin! This is a ONE OF A KIND! THE NEST!

Unique authentic cabin with an add on living, bath and kitchen area. Nice layout and very comfortable furniture. The cabin is almost to the end of the road, so pretty remote location and quiet. There are some cabins nearby, but back of the Nest is very private. Great place to just relax and unwind.

Literally the perfect getaway for me and my husband. The host is fantastic, with clear communication and directions leading up to the stay. And the Nest!! Holy cow!! So beautiful, very clean, and the comfiest little cabin in the woods to enjoy our short vacation.

Very nice place. Very clean and good communication with the host. I will admit that I hated the shower, but still gave 5 stars. I wanted to see a bear - no luck. However, we did have deer in the front yard. This is a very private setting and great for a relaxing getaway. We stay here again.

I loved this cabin!!! It's beautiful, very original on the outside, clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained on the inside. Loved the bathroom. The hot tub was excellent after a long day of shopping. Everything you need and very secluded!. Hope to definitely stay again!!!

This cabin was everything we wanted. It has a true cabin feel, is in a peaceful location, and was very cozy! It was clean and provided most everything you could need or want!! Definitely would love to go back!!

Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to it all. Cabin was clean and had all accommodations was very relaxing with no worries. Perfect having the hot tub after all the long hikes and walking to ease those sore muscles. Very quiet and peaceful. Host was amazing and responds quickly.

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for! It is furnished perfectly to match the rustic feel of the cabin, but it is certainly not lacking in amenities! It is definitely one of the cleanest cabins I have ever stayed in. You can tell that the owner takes pride in their property. I will definitely be back!

This place was just what we were looking for. It was close to Gatlinburg but also secluded enough to feel you were in a cabin in the mountains. The place was cozy and clean. We ate out every night but it looked like there was everything you needed if you ate there. We used the hot tub a lot and it was great. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our 4th year coming to the “Nest” it’s our home away from home. Things that always stand out and much appreciated, very cozy, very clean, well stocked with premium laundry soaps, dish soaps, bath and body soaps. Plenty of towels and other supplies for the week. Clean hot tub, super comfy bed and pillows. We absolutely love this cabin. These are the reasons we come back each year! The owner really takes care of us! This year we were surprised with a gift basket full of gifts. It was a huge hit with my fiancé. Those items fit her perfect. Thoughtful heartfelt gifts! We are very thankful! It’s things like this that make the difference from other places we have booked in the mountains.. We already can’t wait to come back for another visit!! This place is great. Was definitely not expecting the way in to be what it was, but it is in the mountains, so it is to expected. Was suprised it took us 10 min to get to cabin once we got off the main road. Granted it was night time when we showed up and we didn't know the road. Heading out next day to explore, still took close to 10 minutes as well. We definitely would stay here again for sure if its just the 2 of us. Definitely wish we could have had more time to stay and enjoy it, but that was just the time we had to get away. The place was very clean and welcoming as well. I would definitely recommend this cozy cabin for 2 people looking to get away and relax even for a weekend.

We had an AMAZING stay at The Nest! We were able to easily locate the cabin and check in was simple. The cabin was clean, calm, and cozy. I loved how quiet and remote the location was. Everything about the cabin was perfect for the two of us from the shower to the kitchen to the bedroom to the hot tub. Communication with the host was perfect. We would definitely go back.

This cabin was so charming! It is rustic, but it’s clear the hosts put a lot of care and effort into making it a comfortable place to stay, with lots of amenities.For those that prioritize privacy, there is one cabin across the road and one up the hill, but it’s very much off the beaten path. If you’re driving a truck I recommend getting there during daylight because the roads are narrow. I had pretty good cell service with AT&T, but don't go expecting to stream movies all day. Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely come back.

The cabin was so cute! It had great amenities, was well decorated, and perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The drive out to the cabin is a little scary, I’m actually glad we did it in the dark the first time because we couldn’t see how steep the drop off was, haha! But it was fine, we never had any issues and we even had to do the drive with some random November snow! The cabin was very comfortable. On our 3rd night there the temperature decreased dramatically. We stayed cozy in the cabin but just know if you’ll be there in the colder months that socks or house slippers are a must as the floor gets rather cold. All in all, The Nest was a great place to stay for my husband and I. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area (Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and even Buk-ee’s in Sevierville) and provided a secluded, quiet getaway with a lovely view. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it completely!

It was very nice, beautiful, as described. Coupons available that we used, plenty of fridge space, some seasonings, cute guest book. Nice hot tub. Perfect place for couples.We requested an early check in and were told that was not possible so we explored gatlinburg until our check in time cameThe cabin was unfortunately not ready upon check in. We walked in the cabin and were surprised to find towels, trash bags, things everywhere, and then the cleaner came from the back porch which we also didnt expect. I thought maybe we were in the wrong place.The cleaner was very sweet and appologetic, we just dont know what was going on. We were not early or anything but she seemed to think that 4:00 was not supposed to be check in time despite what our booking info said.We ended up helping with cleaning so we could get settled quicker and start our last days of our anniversary trip.After that everything was fine and it was beautiful.

The cabin is in good condition and in a nice, peaceful location. The bed is super comfortable but the couch is not. The main issue we had is that the photos of the property do not reveal a set of steps inside the cabin to reach the bedroom. My wife, who has physical mobility issues, had a lot of trouble navigating the steps.

This is amazing cabin. With other cabins nearby, we still had the feeling that we were in a very private and secluded setting. For the most part the sounds of nature were all that we heard. Check-in was easy, our travel time was longer than expected. We had all of the information with us. The Check-out process was even better. I was surprised how well our GPS work in the area this year. It took us directly to the cabins. The roads in some places were narrow and windy. However, that was not a problem for us because we like traveling the back roads of the Smokies. This year turned out the easiest for us in getting around in the area. The kitchen was one of the smaller ones that we had in the past. However, it worked for us. The bed was very comfortable. We love hearing the rain hatting the metal roof. The wall decoration above the fireplace impressed me. It is the logo of our church. If someone is looking for a cabin that is very private and secluded, this is the one for you.

If you are looking for a private “off the beaten path to get away from the hustle and bustle of life” cabin, The Nest is the place. We enjoyed the peaceful environment. The cabin is rustic yet has all the modern elements to make it comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Nest. The setup was perfect for our family of 4 (2 little children and 2 adults).

One of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever been to. My boyfriend & I wanted for nothing in this cabin, it was perfect! From the drive up to the cabin itself & the hot tub! There’s not much more you can ask for. Hosts were lovely, welcoming & quick with responses. They also provided info on attractions/food in the area so we really got to make the best of it! HUGE FANS OF CHARMIN THE BEAR!

Wanted a secluded place in the woods…yes this was it, road a little scary getting there but worth it!! Has everything you need, comfy bed…slept great and a hot tub we enjoyed after our long days of walking. Loved the bear theme as my girlfriend loves bears. Very nice place to get away! Will visit again! Appreciate all the special touches in your cabin. Took a pic with Charman every day!

This is a lovely rustic cabin. All the modern amenities you want, but in a cabin from the 1700's. The cabin felt a bit more remote than the standard fare around Gatlinburg, which I liked. It is also VERY close to the Smokey Mountain arts and crafts community area, which was fantastic for my wife and I. I spent most of our days going from shop to shop and loved every bit of it.The cabin has a hot tub off the back deck and feels quite secluded. Maybe 1 other cabin could see on to the back deck, but you have lots of privacy.We had pretty solid 5G connection with our phone and the wifi/internet provided seemed just fine to me. It was nice that they include Youtube TV, which my wife and I used at night once we were ready to call it a night.The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful and informative.My ONLY real negative is the drive up to the cabin, especially the last 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Maybe my age is just making me less adventurous, but the last bit of road is more challenging than I cared for. Single lane, gravel road with blind turns on inclines and declines just wasn't great for me.We loved our time at the cabin and would definitely consider going back, but I would plan accordingly to not drive up the lane after dark.

It’s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area!! There was some confusion on getting there as the road to the cabin looked like a private drive. Once there, you want to stay! Hot tub was NICE! Clean and comfortable! If I ever get back this way, I’ll stay here!

Cabin was very nice, exactly as described and clean. Dishes in the kitchen was a very nice touch. Love, love, loved the shower. The bench and mirror in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Bed was super comfortable. Hot tub was lovely and private. Location was good despite the winding road to get there. Great communication with the owner. Would visit again.

We were very pleased with the cabin and interaction with property owner. The gravel road was not an experience to repeat. No pull off and blind spots due to rises and turns made driving after dark an especially unpleasant experience.

This is our 3rd year in a row returning to the Nest! It’s our home away from home! Very clean, well stocked, secluded and CLEAN hot tub, super comfy bed and a true smoky mountain original, nostalgic cabin! Great communication with the owner! This is the perfect little nest to disconnect with the world and reconnect with each other. Wi-Fi for streaming was perfect. We will be back for many years to come!

We had a wonderful time, with a little extra adventure in the 3-4” snow and 11 degree temperatures. The snow and icy road were a little challenging for our non-4 wheel drive truck but everything with our stay was perfect. Secluded, clean, nicely maintained, beautiful scenic views in the travels to and from.

What an amazing cabin. Feels so homey and cozy! This cabin is beautifully restored and the modern touches are beautiful. The hosts really showed true southern hospitality with the extras in the kitchen, and living room. (coffee and filters, small space heater, etc). We loved the cabin... Know the road to is narrow and curvy. We would enjoy staying again!

Cozy place to unwind

We enjoyed our stay and time away from our 5 kids. It was exactly as described. I loved the access to the washer/dryer so we could throw our bathing suits and towels in the dryer in between trips into the hot tub.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nest. The property was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple’s getaway! Kathleen our host was amazing and was easily reachable via text or message. The peaceful surroundings and cozy feel definitely makes us want to come back again!

We had an amazing time. The only thing I would suggest is getting more heat in the living room area, over all we loved the little cabin!

My bf and I went for a short vacay in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for my bday extension. The cabin made far from our expectation. Its very beautiful cabin, clean, it’s close to the places we went, the hot tub is a plus and the comfy bed too! Everything is wonderful and will definitely comeback and recommend this cabin to my friends.

We loved everything about the cabin only thing that we would change is the couch in living room was very uncomfortable and low to the ground but other than that everything was perfect

We had an unforgettable honeymoon at this beautiful place! It was incredibly clean—truly the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect, right in the middle, so we were able to explore both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg easily. The host thought of every little detail, from providing board games to offering local coupons, which made our experience even more special. The thoughtful touches and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Property is exactly as advertised. When we showed up just after check-in time the cabin hadn't yet been cleaned from the previous renters, but one text to Kathy and Lisa was on her way. Found out that Lisa was just behind schedule that particular day and within 10mins had the place spiffed up and the hot tub water being drained and refilled. We would definitely stay here again and hope to one day soon. Extremely nice people to deal with.

The nest is an amazing cabin! My husband and I came for our 7th anniversary and are planning on coming back in may and bringing our child! This cabin is the perfect spot tucked away from all the chaos of pigeon forge! Just a short drive to get to everything but when you are ready for some peace and quite the nest is where it is at! Hot tub was amazing to relax in! Had everything you could ask for from a host! The bed is so comfortable! We felt like we were right at home. Oh yeah! We can’t forget charmin the bear! Charmin is at the front of the cabin ready to greet you when you get there!! This was one of the best cabins we have rented in our 7 years of marriage! The host is so understanding and willing to do what ever! We were unsure if we could make it due to the hurricane hitting western North Carolina and us coming from North Carolina and Mrs. Kathy was so easy to work with on us figuring out what we could do! Great people!!
