Amazing Luxury Getaway ~ 100 Feet on the Toccoa River ~ Hot Tub ~ Great Fishing

This cabin is fantastic. I highly recommend and will likely return. The outdoor spaces are numerous and allowed our family many ways to enjoy the beauty. The riverbank is fairly easy to climb, and once down a few steps, the water is easy to wade.

Such a beautiful home on the Toccoa River. Our family and friends really appreciate all of the outdoor living spaces and the home itself is amazing. I’ve been here twice. Once with my family and our recent trip with a few fly fishing buddies.

Place is outstanding. We had a blast rain or shine. Wil be back for sure!

Hands down our favorite cabin yet and we travel to the Blue Ridge area A LOT! We will definitely be back in the summer. Our three boys loved it there.

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway. We had 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space and things to do for everyone. The cabin and natural setting are beautiful. The only bad part was having to leave at the end of our trip. Thank you for letting us stay here! We hope to visit again soon!

This cabin was way more than expected. It was absolutely perfect from the location to beds. The outside area was just amazing and such a treat to see the trains pass by daily. I will definitely be staying here again and again

The beds were extremely comfortable. The firepit outside was terrific. We loved the swings by the river.

We had a great stay. The house and location was perfect. The pictures do the property justice. We have stayed in the area before and most cabins river side/mountains have a rough dirt roads leading to the house. The road leading to this house was paved all the way, it was narrow but it was paved. The house was located 5 miles from Blue Ridge and 5 miles to McCaysville so it was in a perfect location. It had a great places to sit outside the house such as a swing area next to the river. The kitchen was well stocked so preparing meals was easy or you could also run into town and have a great meal. Some of our activities were the train ride, going to some local waterfalls and going to the Apple Festival in Ellijay. Great times. I will definitely be coming back and staying on this property.

This was our 4th time staying at Hooked on the Toccoa River. As before we had a wonderful experience at this beautiful property! Justine and Georgette are very attentive to your needs and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need!

Fantastic property

Our annual family trip was awesome. We loved just relaxing in and out of the water. Indoor and outdoor space was great. Can't wait to book this place again.

Our family of 6 (5 adults and 1 teen) had a wonderful experience for our family vacation. We experienced many exciting adventures in the Blue Ridge area like white water rafting, ziplining, tubing, Mercier Orchards, and shopping in the downtown area. The property provided many excellent activities as well, such as foosball, board games, corn hole, horseshoes, movies on the big screen tv, cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen, soaking in the hot tub, fishing, swimming, swinging next to the river, lounging on the back decks, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We especially appreciated the provided firewood. It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved opening the windows and screen doors to listen to the river. We found it very interesting how the river water levels are controlled by the dam. During the day time the water was shallow enough to fly fish and in the late afternoon/evening the dam would be released and the water would rise. One day we put tubes in the river out the back door and floated for a couple of hours down to Horseshoe Bend Park where we left a vehicle to drive us back to the house just 15 minutes away. The homeowners were very attentive. They quickly responded anytime we had questions. The only criticism we have is the loft with two twin beds is open to the common area so there is very little privacy. It made it very difficult for our teen to sleep if anyone was in the living room or kitchen and it was much warmer upstairs. Great vacation!

The best place for our family vacation! Had smores around the fire pit, breakfast, lunch, dinner around the picnic table in the porch. Fully equipped kitchen! Fished for trout right in the river and the swings were amazing and I spent hours swinging and watching the river!! We will be back for sure!!

For the past five years we have taken a family fishing trip, this place is by far the best, we have a few handicapped family who needs special access for fishing. This place has the best outdoor patio area on the river for enjoyment. The host was very gracious with her time when needed.We will be booking this place again..

Beautiful property. Loved all the swings next to the river. Peaceful and serene. Every person that stayed with us said 10 out of 10 would rent again. Our only complaint was there was not enough toilet paper in all the bathrooms, luckily we brought extra or we would have been SOL literally, other than that, loved it!

Beautifully appointed. Interesting location with the house between the river and the train tracks.It was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

This was our second trip to this cabin. We loved it so much last year we that we chose it again for our trip this year. A unique feature is that we road the BR Scenic railroad which goes right by the cabin. We got to wave to all the passengers from our front porch but also got to see the cabin while riding the train. Very cool. The outdoor spaces are fantastic and the views of the Toccoa river are beautiful. Very peaceful.

We got married this past weekend on the patio right next to the water. Just us and our adult children. Then had a private chef make us dinner. The river, cabin and surrounding trees was all the decoration needed. Great thought and care was put into making this place special. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud with the sliding glass door letting the fall breeze and sound of the river into the bedroom. It was wonderful!

We had the best stay! The home and property were amazing. I didn’t think it could be better in person, but it was. We were 7 adults enjoying a kid free long weekend, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The hosts were so attentive and answered any questions we had quickly. The home was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My husband and I are already planning our return this summer with our children. Thanks for having us in your beautiful home!

Finding three BR/BA all on the main level is incredibly rare; finding that in such a lovely location and nice house is amazing. Two of our group are cane-dependent and the house worked out very well for them; one was able to make it down to the swings and the other was not quite so confident. We were very pleased and happy with our choice.

Just as described, right on the river and close to Blue Ridge. We plan to return!

This was our third time staying in this fabulous home on the Toccoa river. Georgette and Justine are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Upon arriving on a hot afternoon it was so nice to find a large drink pitcher filled with ice cold, lemon infused water on the island in the kitchen! It was so lovely sitting by the river in the swings relaxing to enjoy coffee in the morning or reading a book for the afternoon. Or just to enjoy the sights and sounds by the river. Some of the wildlife we saw were lots of deer and tons of fawns this year! There was a family of otters that were fun to watch as they swam up and down the river or played on the bank on the other side. The Kingfisher visited each morning and evening to fish. Some of our family enjoyed hours of tubing the river. We always bring our own tubes but you can rent them from a number of vendors in the area. The cabin is well equipped with anything you'll need in the kitchen including a large selection of spices. Also offered are towels to use after playing in the river. If you enjoy fishing be sure to bring your gear as you can walk right out in the river to catch dinner! Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas have tons to offer for things to do. We look forward to visiting next year!
