Location was perfect! Very central to everything. House was clean, well furnished and the kids enjoyed the large amount of yard space.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, spacious cabin. It had everything we could possibly need and more—clearly very well thought out with families in mind. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the home was peaceful and relaxing, and the entire space felt warm and inviting.From the fully stocked kitchen to the little details that made our stay easy, you can tell the hosts put a lot of care into making guests feel at home. The cabin is tucked in a quiet area, which made it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was very clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit after spending the day exploring the area! The complimentary wine, s’mores and Christmas decorations were a nice touch & added to the experience! I highly recommend this rental property!

Our family of five stayed at this cabin for five days, and it was absolutely perfect—everything we hoped for and more. The bedrooms were a great size, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everything in the cabin worked exactly as described, and the hot tub was an excellent bonus.The location was extremely convenient, close to everything we needed, and easy to access with our van. We loved seeing wildlife like deer and rabbits right around the property, which made the stay even more memorable.The host went above and beyond by setting up a small birthday surprise for our two children who were celebrating birthdays during our trip. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated.Overall, this was an excellent place to stay, and we highly recommend it.

This was our 3rd time here, because it is always super clean, the hosts are excellent with communications, it’s super close to town, and the house is extremely well stocked with everything to make you feel at home. We will definitely be there again!

This house is a perfect getaway! It was clean and fully stocked. There is a hot tub and spacious decks to sit and enjoy nature. The furniture and beds are comfortable. The hostess is great. I couldn't find a thing to complain about.

Nice little cabin just miles from downtown Banner Elk. Had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. We even saw 3 deer in the back yard. Would highly recommend.

Cute cabin located close to town. Check-in was a snap and communication with the owner was excellent. The house has a very well equipped kitchen and a fabulous hot tub! The only thing I would suggest is improvement is better lighting. I enjoyed my stay and I would rent this cabin again.

We had a great 2 day trip to Banner Elk and loved this cabin. It was in a perfect location.

We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect mountain getaway. The cabin is as described in the listing. The location was perfect. It was secluded yet convenient, clean, and well stocked. We would definitely stay at Stephanie’s place again.

Perfect Cabin in Banner Elk, Close to Lees McRae, yet off the main road so you still get that secluded mountain feel. The cabin has everything you need when it comes to kitchen equipment. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your time outside!

Overall we had a good stay, my kids enjoy the creek behind the property, the hot tub, and the fire pit. Unfortunately, our stay got off to a not so good start, as the housekeeper had started but not finished cleaning the house. Fortunately, the owner was ultra responsive and had the housekeeper there in less to an hour to finish. It was an inconvenience to start our trip, but I appreciate Stephanie’s responsiveness and her ability to quickly rectify the situation. Other than that hiccup, we didn’t have any issues with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin in Banner Elk. My husband, 16 year old daughter and I were there visiting Lee-McRae college. We couldn't have stayed at a more comfortable place. The cabin felt like a secluded forest retreat, complete with a fireplace, a basket of cozy blankets, rocking chairs on the front and back porches and super comfortable beds. Ron and Stephanie took care of every detail such as basic cooking supplies, dishes, towels and then went the extra mile with bonus extras such as providing coffee pods, sugar and cream, an assortment of tea, a bottle of wine, a smores kit, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and toothpaste. The covered back porch was a relaxing place to watch the rain falling on the tree-filled backyard. We did not have time to use the fire pit and hot tub but both looked very inviting. We will stay here again next time we are in Banner Elk.

The hosts were very responsive and the treats left for guest in the kitchen wee very thoughtful.

This home and location were ideal for our family's winter getaway. Just five minutes from Sugar Mountain, fifteen minutes from Beech Mountain, and five minutes from Food Lion for food and essentials, we relished every moment. We loved the cabin's lovely Christmas decorations, the outside fire pit, and, most importantly, the hot tub/spa, which was ideal after every day of snowboarding and skiing! When needed, the property owners offered extra assistance, and our family enjoyed a fantastic ski holiday. Thank you for the stress-free stay and the experience.

Overall it was great. The decks had not been swept or bloen off. Not a big deal, just leaves sticking to wet feet after hottub wasn't great. And the dishwasher still had all the dishes in it. Nothing major, just a couple noticeable things. But my niece was especially grateful for the hoyub after a stressful day of setting up her dotm

This cabin is located off of a quiet lane in Avery County, surrounded by beautiful foliage, making for a private retreat. The kitchen is the best stocked I have experienced in many years of vacationing - from dishes to pans to utensils to spices to hot beverages - nothing is left out. The rooms are comfortable, love the hot tub and the fire pit. Such a lovely, welcoming home!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! The house was so convenient to everything, including downtown Banner Elk, the Alpine Coaster, and Sugar Mountain. The house has been well maintained, and we really enjoyed the back deck with the hot tub. The s’mores kit they provided was a nice touch that we all enjoyed using over a fire. The house is on a very quiet street and we were able to take the kids on a walk each morning to enjoy the cool air. My family and I are already planning to stay here again in the future!

Amazing property and location. The place had everything ready for use including even graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate for smores. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. The couches could use an update, but other than that we had wonderful time there.

Planned a get-away to just unwind from a year of stuff. Found this cute cabin tucked away in the woods. Everything was exactly as described. The inside was beautiful with the wood ceilings (vs my white popcorn ceilings at home) and wood walls. Towels, bathrobes, sheets, toiletries, everything you needed was there. Even the smores basket (didn't get to enjoy them because of the rain, but maybe at my next stay). Stephanie was amazing to answer any questions that I had prior to my arrival. I can't wait to plan my next get away. Banner Elk was a cute little town as well. Plenty to do from the restaurants to the music in the park. Lots of ski areas around as well which would be perfect in the winter. You will not be disappointed if you choose this cabin.
