A Note About Dogs:
We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) Up to two dogs are allowed at this cabin with prior approval- an additional fee applies. That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s).
We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s):
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime;
*Chew things other than bones;
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;
*Use the house as a bathroom.
We ask that your dogs be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not (One large crate is available at the cabin). Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners.. Sorry, no cats, please.

Good time
We dealt with some major shortcomings. The water level of the flowage was so low we struggled to dock our boat on the property’s dock. We should have known this in advance. The water was down over 3 feet. The internet was not working at all and required a service call from the cable company. If you don’t use T-Mobile you won’t be able to make or receive calls on the property. We also had challenges checking into the property. Finally, we were offered (unsolicited) a discount given these issues which we didn’t receive.
Nice cabin in secluded area. All amenities needed for a nice vacation.
Modern and clean, but definitely an “Up North” feeling. Great layout. Absolutely loved the place. I see no reason for anyone to have doubts about staying here. Unless you have to work remotely. The internet was occasionally out or weak, but hey, I’M ON VACATION! If you need to plug your boat in, you’ll need 200 feet of power cord. It is level to the dock. A great place.
Great view, great spot
Perfect house for two families!
Overall our stay at this cabin was good but some improvements are needed. I sent this to the owner after our stay with no response or apology for our issues. -Driveway is a nightmare in the winter. The ad should state that 4WD is REQUIRED in the winter. The driveway is very steep down to the cabin and it appeared as though no one was maintaining the ice on the driveway. I understand there was an ice storm a week prior but it just looked as no salt was being applied even though there was a pile of salt bags in the garage. I had to apply ice on the driveway every day during our stay and still took an hour to get a FWD van out of the driveway. -There is no sleeper sofa in lower level as advertised at the time we booked. -Most of the other furniture looks like it came from a thrift store.....disappointing for a cabin at this price level. -Furnace issues. When we arrived, heat was set to 55 (that is fine). It took 12 hours to reach 65 (that is not fine). Furnace would shut off and turn back on every 15min or so. -We were sent the wrong code for entry. Had to call owners to get correct code. Key lockbox is in a bad spot. When I opened the lock box the key fell to the ground and got stuck in a crack in the concrete. Had to spend 30min trying to get it out. A keyless door lock would be much better. This is also the first place I've ever stayed at that requires you to bring towels. We knew prior to arriving but just another annoyance. I'm sure the owner will respond saying no one else has complained about these but if you read the reviews you will see I'm not the first.
Rented this cabin with a few friends as base camp for our snowmobile trip. We parked sleds in front yard which has direct access to the lake and the trail system. Beautiful, cozy cabin. Would definitely stay again. The only issue we had was parking. We had 3 trucks, each with a trailer. It was tricky to park all three on driveway due to how narrow, steep and little space to turn around near cabin. With some patience and creativity you can manage.
We had such a great time in this beautiful cabin! Our family was able to all be together in one place and enjoy our time both indoors and outdoors snowmobiling on the frozen lake. The cabin was clean and cozy. Communication was great. We would love to visit again someday!
