Altitude Adjustment!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Tahoe Donner community! From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by how spacious (didn't even use two of the rooms), modern and cozy the home was. Every room was thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, and we felt at ease the moment we stepped inside. The attention to detail and all the extra touches were so appreciated—from the convenient nightstand chargers to the pre-stocked food items in the kitchen, everything was set up to make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. It truly felt like a home away from home.The homeowners were incredibly responsive and friendly, always available to answer any questions we had and ensuring we had everything we needed. Their hospitality went above and beyond, especially when they made sure the driveway was well-plowed day after day during our stay, which included a heavy snowfall of three feet! It was such a relief to have easy access to the home in such wintry conditions. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—comfortable, well-appointed, and with hosts who clearly care about their guests. We can’t wait to return!

Very comfortable house with everything we needed. The kids loved the TV room and the foosball table, in particular.The host was very responsive.Quiet neighborhood. The house was in very good shape. We had no issues with the home. Nice but not too nice — a good balance for a ski house.We found the Tahoe Donner amenities to be very appealing. Being close to Truckee was an advantage.

We had a great visit and found the home to be extremely clean, well-stocked, with nice bedding and comfortable beds. It's in a great part of Tahoe Donner- close to trails and easy to get into Truckee. The owners were quick to respond to any questions I had. It's on a quiet street- so if you are looking for a quiet retreat- this is it. I would highly recommend.

I believe this was our fifth stay at this property. The hosts are amazing. Very thoughtful, supportive and responsive. The house is very, very well stocked. Clean and lovely. Everything you need to enjoy beautiful Truckee. Great location (you can walk to Truckee), lots of good info - it is perfect. Truly.

This house was as welcoming as the owners. Magical backdrop for an unforgettable vacation. Truckee was even more quaint than we expected, and skiing Tahoe Donner could not have been more enjoyable. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful home!

This is our second visit to Askinegard and again everything was perfect. The home is a place where we could relax, play games, read on the 3 decks and build special family memories. Every thing you need is in this lovingly cared for home. We cannot wait to return!

We have stayed here three or four times. Fantastic and quiet place to explore Tahoe/Truckee. The hosts are highly considerate and very responsive. We have EVERYTHING we need and more at the home. We will return, for sure. Very appreciative.

The home and surrounding area are beautiful. The home had more than enough room for my parents, wife, and our two kiddos. The communication with the owners was seamless and easy. They provided easy to follow instructions and the home was stocked with many of the items you would find at a hotel (I.e., blow dryers, extra soaps etc.). Lastly, the home is obviously well cared for and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay their again.
