Hot tub is hot, cabin is spacious, the deck is gorgeous. Have stayed before will stay again.

Nice cabin home, lots of room, nice spa, large deck, with fireplace and wood stove. Less than 10 min. walk to restaurants, store, etc. The home had books, games, and puzzles in abundance to enjoy.

The recent backyard improvements were truly fantastic and was our favorite spot. It was the perfect blend of a relaxing retreat and a convenient home base. We will be back! The management company was incredibly responsive and promptly addressed a billing question we had during our stay.

The kitchen is well stocked. The patio and hot tub are amazing. Very easy and lovely walk to town. Great area

We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven! The house was beautiful and cozy, full of all necessities. The deck was the place to be though! The scenery, the mountain air, the stars at night made gathering with family on the very spacious deck, all the more enjoyable. The trail behind the house made going into town or to the playground with kids so easy and convenient! We will stay here again the future. It easily accommodates large families

The deck is amazing and the highlight of the house. Clean and comfortable inside. Plenty of games. Wish we had longer to enjoy the peace

Our group of ten women ranging in age from 23 to 80 to celebrate our birthdays enjoyed brunch on the expansive deck every morning with mimosas, birdsong and laughter - so beautiful and good for our souls! We walked to town, crossing the small creek, in minutes, and watched swarming ladybugs. It was a perfect three days and we only wished we could stay longer.

This is a great house centrally located to town with plenty of space and privacy for a big group. The exterior deck is massive and such a great place to take in nature of idyllwild but in comfort. When/if traveling with a group for 6 or more people, I would definitely book this house again. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary dish and cookware. The heater worked great. And the house had plenty of games, puzzles, and a TV for entertainment. Wifi also worked great. The only downside is dealing with additional paperwork after booking through VRBO. So, keep an eye on your email inbox post booking to get everything submitted in a timely manner.

Cute house. Grill was terrible not kept up. Coffee pot did not work. Deck is beautiful . Things were going ok until we had a foot of snow. Telephone number given for assistance was recording. Waited 25 minutes to leave a message. Asked about plowing .. Iguess it’s our job to find d a plow or shovel. Never have I had to do that in a winter Vrbo. Took us 2 hours to shovel out with one shovel that was broken. Finally a text came and basically said to figure it out. This really left us with a bad ecperience in a beautiful area

As the original part is quite old, it’s very dark. The kitchen was very well stocked, there was nothing we couldn’t find. The bathrooms and kitchen really need an update, at least new sinks, tubs and showers. The back deck is beautiful and quiet. Very enjoyable just to sit and listen to the birds. The spa was hot upon our arrival as we had requested. We paid for firewood to be delivered by the management company only to find a years worth of fire wood already there.

Great stay until power outage

Great stay. Great place. Exactly what we hoped for.

We can’t wait to return and had such a lovely time. The team was very responsive to any questions we had. Views are unreal in the backyard. Breakfast on the patio in the morning is a must!

We had a wonderful stay at Almost Heaven! The home was even better in person than photos - we loved the layout and the overall design was cozy and perfect for a stay in the mountains. The large deck also exceeded expectations and the kids in our group enjoyed the property access to a small creek in the backyard. We took advantage of the hot tub and BBQ grill, both of which were conveniently located on the back deck. Overall a wonderful stay and would love to come back another time!

This was a great house for 6 adults and a couple little kids. We loved all the seating options throughout the house, games that were available, and the hot tub! I wish we had more time to enjoy the patio and property, but I have a feeling we will be back!

The amount of paperwork needed to stay here is a bit silly but it’s a nice place. The young man that came over to fix a few things was fantastic. All in all, a nice place to stay

We loved this cabin! The deck is huge and has a great view of the tall beautiful trees. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed for cooking, and the cabin was very clean! We would stay here again.
