This was a great cabin, would definatley stay again. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and we had plenty of room. Close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even had a bear go through the front yard one evening and got great pictures. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great up intill we had to leave. kids loved seeing the family of bears each day there .free fishing pond was great

Excellent stay! Clean property and the downstairs has fun game room set up with a pool table. We did not use the hot tub, but it has one and the water was clean/well maintained. The front area with fire pit is a nice place to relax and enjoy outdoors. Tight parking, but most everything is up here - it will fit two cars easily though. House had everything we needed. Overall a lovely stay and good host.

Great time in the cabin. Hot tub was amazing. Every time we had a question or need, the owner immediately responded to our texts and provided anything needed.

Great location, food delivery from all apps available for this cabin. All paved roads to and from the cabin to the sites and activities.

House was super clean and cozy! Perfect location for all pigeon forge/gatlinburg activities. Host was super responsive and helpful. Only thing would be to have more towels for the hot tub. We had 6 people and didn’t have enough towels for both hot tub and showers. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the swing in the front porch and the family time grilling out.

We loved the cabin. The drive was also close to town but also felt the cabin was surrounded by woods.

Hot tub wouldn’t heat, only filled half way with water. Reset it as I was instructed by the owner— still did not heat. It wasn’t the cleanest— saw several cockroaches. Crockpot posted in pics was not there. Oven was very slow to heat and made thanksgiving harder. I wouldn’t stay again

Only recommendation would be to add light to address on the tree for ease of locating when arriving after dark

This was a church ladies retreat…there were several issues that need to be addressed before the next person stays there…#1.. roaches…#2.. only 2 rolls of toilet tissue (there were 9 ladies) we would have brought some if we had known.. we DID buy some..#3…no mirrors in the bedrooms.. only over the sink in the bathrooms… #4.. not enough towels… we had to wash towels in order for the next person to take a bath…#5 … floor under the table had not been swept…#6…coffee pot did not work… #6… tub upstairs gurgling.. may become a plumbing issue…#7…need to have more hanging racks to put towels etc..#8… can of BED BUG spray was under the sink… ladies became very concerned…hopefully this was only a spray to use after each guest as a precaution for the next guest… but..seriously… all in all… loved the place… just listed these as something to check out before it gets too far … some ok f the ladies used the hot tub and loved it.. we did see a bear one evening by the car …

We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was perfect for a much needed vacation with our teenage daughters. Everyone comfortably had their own space and we enjoyed relaxing at the cabin as much as we did doing many things the area has to offer. Would stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy family time.

Nice cabin

The stay was amazing!The cabin was big enough for our entire party of 8.A plus that they allowed us to bring our small dogs. Some things in the pictures online listing have changed but it’s obvious the owner has done some renovating on this cabin due to the cleanliness of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and the owner/manager was easy to contact and handled any situations or questions with accuracy. Just be prepared to see some bears while visiting although they never bothered us we could sit on the back porch and see them walking in the wooded area. Hot tub was clean upon arrival.My kids and teens enjoyed playing pool every night.The road is a little steep and curvy but that is expected in the mountains. Overall great stay.

The location is secluded and inviting. The cabin is nice and offers excellent accommodations for a family. We encountered a few issues during our stay, but the owner is very responsive and went above and beyond to make things right. Tennessee is amazing and offers activities for the nature minded and social butterflies as well. We look forward to returning in the future.

Overall is was fine. We Really enjoyed the firepit. Kids really enjoyed the xbox. There is no hot tub in the bedroom upstairs which the pictures showed there was no basketball game downstairs which pictures showed. Every bed in the place was uncomfortable. The couch in living room sinks in because of pull out bed. The pool table we didnt even use because its not in good condition. It was fine for what we paid i just expected more.

We had so much fun! There is plenty of room for everyone. The pool table was a favorite! The back deck is beautiful. I got to see my first wild bear! Would definitely stay here again!

To start with the property was dirty. Second, the property was not as advertised. It said it had a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. No tub whatsoever. When I contacted the host , no big deal. I think they call that bait and switch. The vents for the heat & a/c were not attached to the floor in the bathroom and kitchen. Someone is going to get hurt, so now the person that gets hurt has documentation that the owner knows about them. The living room furniture is wore out. The hot tub does not work properly. In general the property is just run down.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear Cabin. Beautiful location, though I wouldn't want to try getting to it in the winter time. Lovely decorations and furniture. Nice kitchen. Hot tub and deck were awesome. Fire pit was really nice. The cabin itself was pretty clean. Game room was lots of fun, but needs some new darts. We had a little problem with trash pickup not coming as expected for some reason. After contacting the host they came late the next day, but we were also full to overflowing when we left. The first floor and loft mattresses were very firm, too firm for my wife and I to sleep well. Basement bunk beds were very comfortable. Saw five black bear within 200 yards of the cabin. Shower heads need cleaned/replaced causing low water pressure. Enjoyed fishing at the nearby pond. Overall very happy, would come again.

The property was clean and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and everything worked as it should. We really appreciated that both families were able to bring their dogs.

We stayed 3 days the only down fall was going up and down the hills and how narrow the roads arw and the driveway was hard to get in and out of with our suburban due to the roads being narrow we ended up in the ditch . Kids loved being in the country and being able to see the bears.

Loved the cabin. The bed was great. We had a fire in the fireplace every evening. My only negative is the couch...not comfy at all but everything else was great!! Love the fact that is pet friendly...our shih tzu, Chevy, loved travelling with us.

My family had a wonderful time on our trip to pigeon forge. We hope to return soon

I booked this cabin for the fact it had a hot tub. Which was so dirty it had a grease like film floating on the top, filter was way to dirty. We know what ppl do in them things the fact it was not cleaned is very disturbing, and NASTY.... Blinds dirty and dusty same with the washer. We pay a lot of money most in cleaning fees to rent these. Once I complained and sent pics all I got was I'll pass this on to the cleaners and owners!!! Owner never responded.

This cabin was perfect for our week long visit. It’s very clean and has all the comforts of home. The kids enjoyed themselves in the lower level and played endless games of pool and darts and loved the hot tub!

The stay was awesome. We had everything we needed. Cabin was comforting and a great place to hang out when we were in town or in the mountains.

Family of 6 - stayed 6 nights. Cabin gave us plenty of room to spread out. It’s in a quiet location close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would definitely book again.

This property was in a great location, close to everything we wanted to do around the area. Some of the listing pictures are a bit dated, as they no longer have a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. However, they installed new flooring which actually makes it look more modern. We had a few issues with the upstairs shower not working as well as the heating element located in the downstairs bedroom. Not deal breakers, but just slightly inconvenient. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The cabin is beautiful the road to the cabin not so great and very narrow

We had a great Christmas week away from NY. The roads aren’t bad after day two. It’s a bit of a shock on day one in the way in. You get used to it fast. We saw bears Christmas morning, which was a real treat! I messaged through VRBO after my stay about something that was left behind and they responded immediately.

The place is great!! We felt at home! I will definitely be back!
