Our family enjoyed the stay.
We loved the cabin and the area. Views were great area quiet but close to everything. The only problem we had was with the fireplave and the gas grill. The maintance guy was very nice. But when we had issu with fireplace there was no one to help get it to turn off. Maintance is only until 10 pm. We will be back and suggest to others.
A perfect place for 4 sisters to gather and spend time together on the porch looking at a beautiful view. The kitchen is well furnished and we enjoyed making a few meals there and then eating at some of the excellent local restaurants. The upstairs toilet is extremely loud and 2 mattresses are not adequate (lower bunk bed and upstairs bedroom) but in all, it is a comfortable and enjoyable place to visit.
Cute property. Great lay out and options for beds. Mattresses could use updating but over all we managed well with two families and a summer escape to cooler mountains.
You can’t ask for a better view of Grandfather Mountain! Plus, this property was large enough for our family and a welcome respite. It’s peaceful here. The game room is fabulous. Our property manager was great to work with too.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It was conveniently located to App State, grocery and convenience stores. Having a few more towels would be appreciated. We were not aware that there was no central air conditioning. I now notice the window units in the listing pictures. Fortunately we had pleasant weather and could open windows. Consider providing a couple table fans or additional box fans. This would help with drawing the cool air inside. We also experienced not having enough hot water. Since we were there for an event, everyone in my party was getting ready at the same time. Had we known we could have staggered showering times. There could be additional silverware in the kitchen. New pillows are needed in the master bedroom. Thank you for opening your home. I loved the porch swing!
View was great. Game tables were a plus. However, a few things were not up to par. The couch bed was broken, but the did bring a blow mattress. There was trash left in can outside from previous renter. Overall cleanliness was not great.
Great Cabin and location. We will come back
Excellent! Clean, well supplied! Beautiful location. Not a single negative!
Property needed to be clean better, needed more outside lights, to dark and uneven rock when entering walkway. Towels on master bedroom were folded but still wet. Light hanging from ceiling fan. Master bathroom sink leaking. Downstairs has a odor.
Place was in a great location. Dishwasher was not working but they did give us a credit. Still a pain to have to wash dishes for a party of 9 every day. Should offer more towels- only one per guest and we were there for 6 days…
This cabin was a comfortable home for my family, from grandparents who enjoyed the rocking chairs and mountain views, to a nine-year-old who had a great time challenging everyone to Air Hockey matches!
Cozy place with plenty of room for extended family. Great kitchen with everything needed to make any meal. Loved the decor and little touches everywhere. Comfortable beds and rooms, but mostly enjoyed the beautiful views of Grandfather from all the lovely rocking chairs on the wraparound porch. We will definitely book again!
More than pleased! The pictures on the website do not do it justice!! Cabin 230 is, to put it simple, spectacular! The views are incredible, the quiet was splendid, and the attractions in such close proximity helped out a lot!! Especially the Mining company less than five minutes away who were more than helpful and informative!! Laurel Creek Falls was fun and incredibly cold! Thank you for allowing me to give my family an educational, fun, fantastic experience!! Already looking forward for our next trip!
We went up here to celebrate a friend's 25th birthday and it was a gorgeous and welcoming home.
Beautiful cabin. Very clean. Very spacious for our family. The views were amazing!
