Westport, New York
A cozy studio cabin off the grid overlooking the beautiful ADK mountains. With a small pond off the back porch. Get back to serenity and nature to replenish your soul. Located on a beautiful farm in the ADK mountains. Please do not cross over the hay field. Stay on traveled road to the cabin.
Please be very careful of opening the storm doors. High winds will catch the door and tear it off the hinges. Have a good hold of the handle when opening and closing.

This is a solar little house. Make sure outdoor lights are turned off during the day and turn lights off when leaving for the day and when not needed. There is a Keurig coffee maker and toaster. Leave the cabin as you find it please. Thanks and we hope you enjoy our little cabin! Sarah

The property was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was perfect sized for a couple getting away for a long weekend. Love that my dog was permitted to join us. The outhouse was well appointed and not scary or dirty at all. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and very nice sheets. The kitchen was small, as it is a cabin, but had everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. There were ticks that we ran into, but that is to be expected in any long grass field and woods. Watching the fish in the pond out back was fun. Overall it was quiet and relaxing and we didn't turn the television on once. Very happy and would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved the view.
We were looking for some simple living while enjoying our days hiking. The cabin more than delivered. Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen and gas stove for warmth. And a beautiful mountain view with a night sky loaded with stars. Our peaceful getaway was perfect! Thanks!!
This off-the-grid cabin is 6 minutes off the highway, making it the perfect spot for a little serenity while visiting SUNY Plattsburgh (30 minutes north). The cabin was pristine and the outhouse was surprisingly usable (I'm usually not a fan). I had a tough time peeling myself out of the extremely comfortable chair by the fire pit, but the amazing sunset managed to get me on my feet. My pup and I took a stroll to go visit the horses, and then spent the rest of the night tucked under the stars with a book (after he discovered the little pond, of course). We definitely plan on returning to this lovely little spot in the North Country.
