Very cute and cozy cabin with all the amenities you need! Was our home away from home for a few nights! Great grounds, very peaceful. Communication with the hosts is fantastic, they were super responsive the entire stay. Hoping to stay here again sometime!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a couple of nights as I had a booth at the Keuka Arts Festival nearby. It was the perfect place to relax after long busy days at the festival. We loved how peaceful and cosy it was, how clean everything was, and how clear all the directions on what to expect were. There were no surprises. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Loved the solitude, I’ve been home about a week and haven’t turned the news back on yet. It is life changing not having internet and tv. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Plenty to do. I can’t wait to go back.

Honestly words cant describe how peaceful and serene this propery is. The cabin is perfect for a couples get away! So many wineries and breweries within a resonable drive. There is an amazing cafe down in Prattsburgh called Barrel Horse on Main! We will definitely be back and cant wait!

This was our third time here - it has become an annual tradition for my husband and me. We love the cozy feel of it and that it is nestled in the woods with no one else around. This year, we did our annual outing to a winery and distillery, enjoyed meeting some new people and the live band. Back at the cabin, we made a delicious meal and played some games while enjoying the fireplace and battery-operated candle lighting. The water continues to be stinky but we always bring bottled water and suck it up when taking showers or doing dishes. We did have trouble with the DVD player (brought some favorite movies) and when that didn't work, we found a movie on the Roku TV. The light near the staircase also doesn't work, despite us bringing and trying new batteries. All in all, we had another fantastic stay and look forward to booking again next year. Thanks to the lovely hosts!

The directions were perfect, easy to follow and sufficiently in depth! The property itself is in an idea location with so mcuh to do in such a close area. We hung out in Corning, NY and poked around the finger lakes. The home itself is spectacular, with a very cozy lay out and everything anyone could need for even a few days out.

We've stayed here multiple times and will certainly be back, very clean and welcoming!

The emenities were in over all good condition. I did think the cookware and utensils could use some updating. Also, my recommendation would be to get a kettle to be able to boil water for tea or hot cocoa.

Lovely cottage

Cabin was as advertised. Cozy, and clean. Location was close enough to lots of different activities but was also remote enough to enjoy privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this stay was amazing. The hosts were kind and very communicative. The cottage was clean, well kept and everything we could have wanted.

The hosts were great with communication and with hospitality.We loved the cabin and the setting.It was clean and welcoming.Check in and out instructions were good.We will definetly be back. Also i hope they enjoyed our snow man.

It was really cool. Went there for my honeymoon. Everything was really nice. The only thing I would recommend is a water filter.

Cabin is well kept and secluded. Host responds quickly to messages. We had such a nice stay. Hosts have a book loaded with things to do , places to eat.

Everything was amazing! Weve stayed at this property 4 tknes and its been exceptional every time. The only negative, even though i didn't reduce the rating, is the water smell. Often well water with certain bacteria reacts with the anode rod in hot water tanks causing a sulfur smell from hot water only. Try replacing the anode rod in the water heater with an electric style instead of metal and after flushing the tanknout a few times, smell should be gone!

Fantastic weekend getaway, well off the beaten path and out in the middle of nowhere, plenty of wineries around and the lake is just a short drive away!

Very nice little cottage. If you have mobility issues, the spiral stairs will be tricky for you. Bring your own drinking water as the well water tastes a little like sulfur. It is a very comfortable place. We made use of the queen size bed upstairs and the trundle twin beds in the living room.

Just got home from an amazing weekend at a beautiful cabin, with two of the best people I know. We could not say enough about the cabin. It was very welcoming, clean and cozy. A relaxing sit on the porch, very quiet….. except for the falling acorns. As far as my dealings with the hosts it could not have been better, TOP NOTCH!

I just have to say that Gary and Dawn offer up a pc of heaven with this cabin and property. Whether you’re staying for just a couple of nights like we did or longer it is just so peaceful, cozy, and has everything you really need. We were in town to visit the Naples grape festival and to be honest we both couldn’t wait to leave the festival and get back to the cabin to just relax and play our scrabble on the back porch! The communication with Gary and Dawn anytime we had a question was amazing! Very quick to respond and accommodating. Bottom line is we can not wait to return….for a longer stay next time!

We loved the peace and quiet at this property. I do suggest bringing bottled water as the sulfur smell never went away and we didnt want to drink it even though it is safe. The cabin was clean and well kept, very cute property. We didnt spend much time there but would highly recommend to others.

Great stay- dirt road scared me but husband handled it fine. Cabin is very secluded, well kept and so very clean.I appreciated the vacuum being available.

This property is very clean and well kept. Cozy, like home and all the little conveniences of home. The battery operated candles were a nice touch and all the extra supplies were nice too! 10 out of 10 for us! This might become a tradition to us, we liked it that much!

Very nice renovated cabin in the woods away from it all. We had a really nice time there. When we were there winter weather was at the height of stormy weather. Snow and ice were happening. A 4WD truck is best for this weather scenario, which we had and experienced no issues.the cabin access road was plowed as necessary, so no issues!We had a great relaxing time!

My husband and I stayed at this cute little rental last year and loved it so when it was time to book another getaway weekend, we decided to go back. Everything was lovely-only thing I would bring up was that the well water seemed especially smelly this year. I grew up with well water so it usually doesn't bother me but having the water on a while (doing dishes or taking a shower) really put a smell in the air. But we would still go back. Also, batteries were dead in some of the candles, flashlights, etc. I love my lights, especially when I'm in an unfamiliar setting during the night so some extra batteries left there would be ideal. Otherwise, we loved our little getaway and due to the weather being bad (snow in February), we didn't end up venturing out this time and we LOVED the solitude and extra relaxation time. I bet we'll be back next year, too!

It was a lovely time had. Small and cozy. Loved the trees all around. Even saw a doe lay down for the night Friday and saw her get up Saturday morning.

This was a wonderful little cabin to stay in during the winter. The inside was nice and cozy with the little fireplace, and the view outside with all the snow was beautiful. The owners gave clear check-in and check-out information that was easy to follow, and the background information about the cabin was a nice touch. The location is nice, with a lot to do in the surrounding area, even in the winter, with two state parks within 30 minutes of the cabin. The only issues were the sulfur smell of the water and the condition of the surrounding roads however both of these were mentioned in the property information and we appreciate the transparency for both. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would love to return. Thank you for having us!

This cabin was perfect. Was located away from everyone but didn’t have to drive up and sketchy mountain roads, which I was worried about since we visited during Christmas and it was snowing.

Nice property, there is a tricky spiral staircase. Also a strong sulfur smell in the shower when you first run it. Overall it was cozy and great.

This cabin was just what we needed! I am a teacher and this was the perfect escape to fill my cup before the start of another crazy school year! Perfect location. We love the outdoors and the privacy was amazing! We can’t wait to book again!

It was a nice little place to stay. Has a stocked kitchen for cook that was very nice. The beds were comfy and clean. Feels like your secluded in the mountain.

Here is the translation: It was a fantastic, charming, and lovely cabin located on top of a mountain in a secluded spot. A delightful stay. We enjoyed the grill, firepit, and also the peace and quiet (no busy roads, truly remote) to completely relax. The cabin is fully equipped with amenities such as a shower, hot water, fiber-optic (!!) internet, and a well-stocked kitchen. Our stay was wonderful as we explored the beautiful surroundings of the Finger Lakes and Upstate NY from here. We did lose power for a short time due to a tropical storm, but the owner quickly helped us get everything back up and running. Very helpful and quick to respond! Your cabin is very nice, especially the inside. We were surprised to see the unmowed lawn since the inside is impeccable. Another suggestion is to cut the weeds at the back of the building since they are now growing up through the slats of the porch floor and some were taller than the porch rail. Otherwise, beautiful!

This was our first time visiting the Finger Lakes region, and WOW! It was absolutely stunning! We didn’t spend too much time in the cabin, but it was there when we needed to. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was perfectly situated for driving to several different destinations.

I’ve stayed at this property twice now, I love how private and quiet it is there. The cabin is very cute and cozy and I would love to own something similar one day!!
