The house is awesome. Clean and fit the 10 of us comfortably. The hosts were great to deal with and quickly responded to the few questions I had.

Host was responsive, place was very clean and cute. House is drafty in places, window doesn't lock in living room, heat in three bedrooms did not work because thermostats needed new batteries, which we changed. The railing to the downstairs and to the loft are dangerous in my opinion. We have shared feedback directly with the owner about the railings but if you have real small children who might slip through pickets spaced far apart or older/disabled people who need railings for safely traversing up and down, be aware. Hot tub was great, kids loved the gaming downstairs.wifi was not great. Again, not a contractor, just my opinion. I would stay here again.

Overall, the cabin was excellent and things felt similar to the vibes the picture gave. The space is large and really provided us with a sense of luxury and coziness. Everything is updated and brand new, the showers were amazing. Things were clean without that under-layer of grime that you sometime see in rentals. The owners were super responsive when we had misc questions. The hot tub was very clean and very functional. I didn’t attempt the fire pit, but it looked great I just don’t know if fire starter materials were available. Laundry accommodations were great. I don’t quite recall all the details, but there were lots of little features I was impressed by.However, the hot tub had a very bright light that wouldn’t turn off such that my friend couldn’t use the tub without risking a migraine. In general, lights felt too dim (living room) or too bright (outdoors) without much in between. Additionally, there were not any extra blankets available for being on the couches or to sleep with (with comforters that were a bit stale and uncomfortable). The overhead light on the stove was not yet installed correctly/broken, and the kitchen while nice was not quite fully stocked and ready for cooking. The stools were good for a quick meal, but ultimately for board games and whatnot they did not work for us. We had 5 people total and there was *just* enough comfy seating. Overall a pretty great stay, just had a few too many small hiccups for 5 stars.

My group wanted to love this property. We had 10 guests come from all over the country to spend a remote weekend in the woods and hike. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found out the listing is not as described.1. The property has “NoiseAware” system throughout the property, which is not disclosed on the listing page, which violates VRBO policy. The host justifies this by explaining the *day before* check-in that there is a noise monitoring device on the property and mandatory quiet hours beginning at 9 or 10pm.2. There is a hostile neighbor within an earshot of the fire pit who does not like short term guests. You can read signs as you pull into the driveway which indicate their displeasure with your stay.3. The listing included a kayak for guests to use upon arrival. When my group arrived, we were unable to locate the kayak and reached out to the host. The host told us that “nobody has used the kayak for 1.5 years” and therefore they “removed it from the property.” Maybe they should’ve considered removing it from the listing? I had to escalate to VRBO supervisors that the kayak had not been taken off the listing for weeks after our stay. It was only removed sometime after that final escalation.4. The property is very low quality (thin walls, extremely squeaky bed frames, dirty furniture). Please see the picture of the couch which my entire group refused to use.The host offered no resolution/compensation for false advertising. (Character limit reached)

We had a great stay in Jay. Lovely house, responsive host. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffeemaker and filters. The beds are a little loud but comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after long hikes in the mountains!

The location and cabin itself were great. But the cabin wasn’t clean. There were visible clumps of dust in corners and cobwebs in the ceiling. The lighting was terrible in the main area. We needed to move multiple lamps to the main area to be able to see while eating. The hot tub was great, and hooks by the hot tub would be a welcome addition. The two twin roller beds were missing top sheets and comforters. The kitchen was disorganized and lacked dish towels. The stairs outside to the second level had no treads and were extremely dangerous. With some love and a few improvements, this cabin could go from “fine” to great. The host was responsive and allowed two small dogs for the price of one, which was great.

The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!

We loved our stay in this cozy farmhouse. A few key items were missing in the kitchen: wine glasses, good knives, kitchen towels, jcloths. Also not enough seating to sit down for dinner together. We ate With the adults sitting around the couch and the kids at the small round table.

This farmhouse was really nice to stay in during our week long trip in the Adirondacks. Everything was very clean and very nice when we arrived and served our needs very well. Wifi worked really well and TV services were very good. Hot tub was also really good as was the firepit outside. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a nice home with a small group. Just be sure to respect the quiet hours and neighbors and you shouldn't have problems on that.

We had a great stay overall. About a 1/2 hour from most of the major high peak attractions in the area. We had issues with the dryer, but everything else was as advertised.

I rented this property to bring all my children & grandchildren together to experience the Adirondacks in the summer. We came from Florida & Pennsylvania. The space accomomdated the adults well as everyone had their own bedroom and the loft area was great for the kids, eobedroom

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mancy's home. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Jay. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was exactly what we needed. The owner was communicative and helpful. It had the perfect amount of beds, and easy check-in/check-out. Not far from Lake Placid and close to many different hikes/climbs. I would rent again.

The house is beautiful! It's off the beaten path but still close enough to all the things we wanted to do. We were 11 people and the max of the house is 12 so we definitely had a full house. We never ran out of hot water even when ALL of wanted to shower after a good hike. The AC, the grill, the hot tub, and the fire pit were all in excellent condition and enjoyable. Because we were a large group, we needed more paper products than provided so we easily purchased our own. One suggestion is to provide foldable chairs so guests can sit on the deck to enjoy the beauty of the setting. We had a great time - thanks for hosting us.
