Buena Vista, Colorado
This one bedroom cabin in the heart of Buena Vista is charming and conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from historic downtown’s shops and restaurants! Perfect for couples, small families with one child and solo travelers. Come enjoy your time in Buena Vista with historic charm and modern-day conveniences!
Enjoy the gas-burning woodstove, rustic touches and shady outdoor space of this cabin, which was probably built in the 1920s. An original log-and-chink structure, the interior was completely remodeled in 2018. Amenities include a full bath and full kitchen with electric gas range, oven and full-sized fridge, private driveway and easy access to everything that makes Buena Vista such a great place to live.
Please note before making a reservation! This unit is not likely comfortable for tall people because the roof slopes toward the north side, bringing the ceiling height down to under 6 feet in the shower and while standing at the kitchen sink. The sofa makes a bed appropriate for a child but the small size of this space — 480 square feet — is too tight for more than 2 adults.

The cabin was quaint and cozy.
This is a very cozy little cabin in a quiet Buena Vista neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Main Street restaurants, bars and shops. We had a good experience and would certainly stay again! Thank you Melissa.
This is a quaint historic redone property. Easy to find in a quiet neighborhood with deer visiting neighboring lots and streets. We were warned by the propert owners that the height of the shower was low, and they were correct. So if that is something you missed, be warned. Pros: Newly decorated, quaint property, clean and plenty of room in living and bed rooms. Dishes and glassware for use. Cons: Low height shower, very small bath with no exhaust fan, no tv, no A/C, although they provide a small fan and you open the windows for cool air at night. I know that is the norm for this area, but I dont like to leave windows open at night in foreign locations. I know matresses are subjective-my husband really liked the FIRM (I mean mortician’s slab hard) mattress, but I had to go to the couch to get any sleep it was so hard. Just be warned. The front door is warped and does not fully open, so that made loading and unloading our stuff harder.
Great couple nights! Cabin was perfect for my husband and I. Quiet, clean and a great getaway:) thank you!
When we first drove by the property, we thought oh boy, that’s really small. is it going to work? But when we got into the cabin, it was wonderful. It’s an open concept, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, a fine size. All in all, it was a pleasant surprise and a great place to stay we would do it again.
Easy walk to downtown shops. Best and easy fly fishing locations. Dark sky; starry nights.
Cute little place. My son and I stayed there for a friends wedding.
Creative fun decor. Maximize small space with thoughtful modern conveniences. Want to stay here again next month! Perfect walking distance to coffee shops that let you linger on their patios. Love that you let well-behaved pooches come with their people. Thank you for letting us stay! Plus a great friendly small town.
Precious cozy cabin close to anything and everything you’d want to do!
The cabin was not as expected, but the owner agreed to a full refund. I tried to reach the manager by phone and text several times w/o success. This was very frustrating. There were dishes with old food on them. Covers with animal hairs, dead bugs in the window sills and a dustpan full of debris and a paper plate under the couch.
This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay as a home base while in Buena Vista for a wedding. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We loved it! That said, we would not advise it for tall people. :)
Cute, clean, convenient!
The cabin was perfect for a weekend stay in Buena Vista! Just a short walk to Main Street. Highly recommend for two.
Cozy little cabin with fireplace to warm. Lots of wildlife just walking around and pooping:) everywhere not fenced. Good little place to have your base while hiking and soaking in hot springs.
We enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to downtown which was nice.
We enjoyed our stay at the Pleasant cabin. Nicely updated and close to everything that Buena Vista has to offer.
The Pleasant Cabin was the perfect location for our hiking vacation. It was close to many trailheads and was an easy walk to the downtown area to shop, eat, or just hang out. The cabin is the right size for a (short) couple. The property manager responded to messages quickly. Our only complaint was that the front door does not open all the way (it catches on the floor) making it difficult to load/unload the car.
Small but nice

Very clean, and the neighborhood is quiet with minimal traffic. Short walk to downtown and small park with the pond.
My husband and I rented this place for the weekend before a running event. It was a fantastic choice. We had no car while here and had no problem getting to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries or the grocery store on foot. Was a cozy cabin and I would book this place again before the event.
