It was a very clean place, except mildewy growth all above the master bath was unsettling. The basement has the washer and dryer, but it also smelled musty. Refrigerator had old food left in it, we we didn’t like. It was very clean otherwise.

Very peaceful up the mountain. Fairly close to Brevard for going out or just bring your stuff with you and there’s a full kitchen to cook meals.

The host is exceedingly nice and very responsive. Lightening fast replies and always very gracious. The cabin was not hard to find with our GPS, but it's a very high end one and new. I would go with host's directions if you have an older or outdated GPS or Google maps on your phone. Cabin is very rustic, well appointed and quiet. There are a whole lot of electrical outlets for things requiring a charge. You won't need much in the way of amenities as they are all thoughtfully provided. Lots of towels and kitchen do-dads for cooking. Furniture is comfortable, as are the beds. Town of Brevard is not far and the Ingles is a fantastic supermarket. We didn't sit on the front porch as sitting there was dark and very buggy. Not much the hosts can do about the bugs - it's the back country woods. Bring Deet. The chiggers gave me fits my first day hiking at Triple Falls. The rear porch is comfortable and we spend most of our non hiking time reading there. Mercifully the bugs stayed away. I am very reactive so was initially concerned about the lack of screens, but it was no problem as long as I stayed back there or indoors at dusk. The grills are charcoal, so come prepared for that and they are downstairs so you have to go up and down when grilling. The WiFi is very fast and reliable. Don't forget your streaming codes. Lots of apps on the TV, but if you want decent entertainment, you will have to have your prime, Hulu, or Netflix password to watch.

The property was very cozy, the kitchen well stocked and spacious, and the bed aon the main level was very comfortable. It is very quiet and you feel as if you are far away from civilization, but you are not, as town is only about 15 miles away. The living room furniture is also very comfy, and the fireplace very convenient as it turns on with just a quick button! There were lots of birds, deer and fireflies. We appreciated the recommendation for Sassafras Mountain at sunset-thank you for that! Excellent communication. I had just one concern about bedding, but it appears will be quickly resolved. Print and bring the directions she gives you, as the first time you arrive you will need it. The sign for the property is set back a bit, and at night would be impossible to see-it definitely needs a light to see it.

This was the most magical place with a beautiful peaceful atmosphere. The beauty of nature surrounds the cabin in its decor that speaks intentional design. My hubby and I will be back again!

I stayed in the cabin over the Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful stay. Communication with the host was easy and responses were timely. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Check in was easy. Host provided directions to the cabin , rules of the cabin, and how to access the cabin in a timely fashion. The cabin felt like you were in a treehouse, very peaceful, sitting on the deck having my coffee while the rain came down, was soothing to the soul. I would rent again.

We had such a wonderful relaxing stay here! Tucked up in the woods, private, peaceful, serene! It was clean and comfortable and cozy! I only wished we could have stayed longer! I loved all the cabin decor! The porches were large with plenty of places to sit and relax. Communication was spot on, with suggestions on where to go and things to do around the cabin. We will definitely be coming back!

This is an excellent cabin in Brevard, NC. My wife and I have stayed here many times now, and the listing is very accurate and the return hospitality is amazing. We look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful experience. We were able to check in several hours early…..thank you!! The home has everything you need to stay a few days or a few weeks. Beautifully decorated and maintained, inside and out. We were only there 2 nights. We grilled and ate on the back porch ( spectacular views) one night, and ate in Brevard the second night. Were able to capture video of the white squirrels, and enjoyed walking around Brevard. Would love to stay there longer next time.

I had the most quiet, peaceful,and relaxing stay. Had time to think and enjoy my uninterrupted musical creativity. ME, A FEW COLD BEVERAGES, THE FIREPLACE, AND MY GUITAR. A whole week of laid back joy.Quaint and modern with a rustic twist...Loved the melding of old forgotten times mixèd with modern living. A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN ON A HILL....

The host was quick to respond. The home was just like what was advertised. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and would be nice to stay longer. Kitchen is equipped with everything to cook full meals. We will be staying again in the future.

We had a great stay! The cabin was amazing. It was just as the pictures show. The location was perfect - secluded but close to the town of Brevard and hiking trails, restaurants, breweries, etc. Jessica was an excellent host! Her instructions and directions were clear, the cabin was spotlessly clean and was well stocked with everything you needed.

It is a cozy clean cabin in the woods that was well equipped with a great fireplace.Close to Brevard and all the quaint shops. We had to contact Jessica with a small problem and she answered our call and provided an answer. Definitely would like to go back!

Beautiful super clean cabin! Cabin was beautiful and spacious. Check-in was easy, location was perfect. Host was amazing, I left a necklace and she made she I got in back free of charge. Host answered every question promptly, this I definitely where I will stay if I return to the area.

This cabin was perfect for our mountain trip. The location is great for being secluded yet not too far outside of Brevard. We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors all around us and waking up in the woods each day was a delight. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed….very comfortable. Jessica was very nice and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

Laurel Haven was exactly as listed...secluded, clean, well equipped, comfortable. It was nice to have the simple basics provided. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong in the basement after our long days of hiking! Jessica was a great host and very responsive. This adorable cabin will be at the top of our list for our next visit!

We have stayed in a lot of vrbo's and this one was the best for having a well appointed kitchen. Plenty of plate bowls utinsel pots and pans and even spices and condiments. It was very clean and comfortable.

Cabin was very clean, and nicely decorated. Very spacious and the kitchen was well stock with supplies. Geographically the cabin is very well situated to downtown Brevard, waterfalls, and other attractions.

The house was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! And the area was quiet and convenient to downtown Brevard, or getting around anywhere else. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things I would comment on are the same things from every VRBO - house needs a sound bar for the TV, lumpy pillows and burnt up spatulas and scratched fry pans. Everything else, including the bigger TV and the niceness of the host made up for it. : ) We would definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful cozy cabin! It is nestled in a community but feels very private and secluded. Home is beautiful and is sooo clean and well appointed. Everything to do is 15 minutes away and the drive anywhere is absolutely beautiful. I stayed here for 9’days to work while our son attended camp. Wifi was strong! Loved it so much we booked the neighboring cabin for next summer.

It was so nice to be in a quiet, clean, peaceful place. The cabin is furnished with everything you need and the most comfortable king-sized bed. It was delightful sitting on the porches with only the sounds of nature. We would happily come back again.

Great cabin in a location that is central to all the area has to offer! Feels remote while still being connected. Jessica was excellent! She was helpful and quick to respond to messages. We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute in the cabin and hiking in the area. This cabin is one of the most solidly built high quality structures I've ever stayed in and is well designed for a small family or two couples. We really enjoyed the open kitchen and living area with high ceilings!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location was just right for us: far enough to feel like we had privacy but close enough to downtown Brevard and Pigsah National Forest to get dinner and go for hikes. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and spending time on the amazing back porch. Highly recommend for a getaway to relax and reset!

clean, perfect location, just what we needed for camp dropoff

My daughter and I absolutely loved this cabin. Cozy, tranquil and close to everything. It had everything we needed. I especially loved the tub and practicing yoga on the porch in the sun’s dappling through the leaves. Will definitely stay here again.

This cabin was located in a forested area that is a short drive to downtown Brevard. The cabin itself has a lovely deck overlooking nature, an upstairs bedroom with its own bathroom, interesting architecture, a ping pong table, fire pit, and many special and artistic touches. You can definitely tell that the owners go out of their way to provide a unique and special experience for guests. Jessica was an amazing host with good communication. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a classic mountain cabin located in the peaceful setting of Brevard, NC. My wife and I have stayed here (and the sister cabin) several times and at different times of the year. All visits have been spectacular retreats, and the home offers plenty of space and comfort. We've already booked our next stay. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful cabin and everything was as described. Plenty of supplies for our weekend and tons of towels which was nice to not have to wash mid stay. We woke up to deer in the front yard on our last morning. The fireplace and back porch were our favorite spots to relax. Easy access to property even after dark.
