Wonderful little A Frame cottage with just enough room for two and our dog. Could fit 1-2 children in the loft bed above. Cozy and warm even with the windows open overnight. The best sleep when you can hear nature. There’s a TV and heater but didn’t use either. Mini fridge and microwave too with a couch to chill. The grounds were well kept and the A Frame shares a fire pit area with the Bunk house and the Bus porch (tricked us thinking it was a cafe lol). BRING FIREWOOD to enjoy the pit. We scavenged fallen twigs and branches for kindling.Bathroom / bath house is between A Frame area and the Yert type grounds. Outhouse style toilet with much more room and nicely decorated. Shower is next to it and has more than enough room to stretch. Might want to bring flip flops as floor is gravel. Men’s and Women’s. Sink on Yert facing side. Cell service is not good but free WiFi on site compensates. Will definitely stay here next time we’re passing through.

Cabin was very cozy. They had baby goats we could pet and good wifi. The outhouse-style bathrooms were cute but my germaphobe partner wasn't a fan and the trail up was rough and unlit at night so it was a little rough going to the bathroom if it was an emergency.

Very nice cabin. Fire pit and grill are shared with other cabins. Roads and bridges down. No cell service. WIFI password was not sent. Very grateful for the property manager. This is a nice place to go if you want to be off the grid. Wood porch awning is infested with bees, wasps and hornets could not sit on por h during the day.

Our stay at the Hideaway Wood Cabin at Buckridge Mountain Resort was nothing short of amazing! The cabin is beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The woodwork throughout creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it feel like a true mountain retreat. The location is peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to hiking trails and scenic spots. Waking up to breathtaking mountain views and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck was an absolute highlight. The interior was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and a charming fireplace that added to the ambiance. The small; kitchenette could use plastic plates and utensils. It was my first time using outhouse so not sure if it was great but I had a hard time flushing things down the toilet. The host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Whether you're looking to unwind in nature, explore the outdoors, or simply escape the hustle and bustle, this cabin is the perfect spot.We can't wait to come back—highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

Great location, wonderful hosts, just not an overly accurate description of facilities. The bathhouse is literally a large outhouse with outhouse showers. Over all very comfortable and will stay again more prepared for camping.

We stayed at the A-frame cabin. The cabin interiour ist quite nice and well equipped, however you should be aware it is very tiny. The bathroom/outhouse is approx. 30m away and equipped quite rudimentary. Activities require some driving. In extended periods of rain that should be considered. The place ist still developping (new Houses being built) and could develop nicely. Staff was friendly and helpful.
