97. Serenity. A one level getaway with everything you need

Disappointing Stay – Unclean and Poorly ManagedUnfortunately, the cabin was not clean upon arrival. It was extremely dusty, smelled strongly of urine, and the floors were dirty—I had to sweep as soon as we got there. The bed had a deep dip in it, and the bedding was not clean. We reported the smell immediately, and the host said housekeeping would come that night, then the next morning—no one ever showed. The host also said she’d come herself if needed, but she didn’t.We ended up spending most of our time outside because the smell was unbearable. Our dog even found a chip in a blanket on the couch. The host did offer a free night for a future stay, but we declined. A partial refund would’ve made more sense considering the condition of the cabin and the lack of follow-through. Definitely not worth the high cleaning fee because its clearly not used for cleaning .

Beautiful place to share our honeymoon, and the personal touches and ease of communication were such a bonus! We will be back for sure!

Nothing negative to say about this place…. Perfect location, great cabin setup (it has everything you need plus), perfect size for myself. Loved the decor. The hot tub, fire pit, porch swing and little creek was such a relaxing spot. I had such a great time and I will definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was small but perfect for me and my husband for a couples get-away. Everything was clean and nice. It was conveniently located only about 5 miles out of downtown Helen, tucked away in the woods. Easy to access—it is not on a mountainside, so there were no winding roads to get to it. There were a few other cabins nearby, but it was quiet and fairly private. My only recommendation would be to add some latticework or something around the hot tub as it faces the back of another’s cabin and didn’t feel private during the day. We were disappointed that spring break is the “off season” for Helen so a lot of things were not open. I would recommend visiting in the summer if you are interested in taking advantage of all of the local attractions.

We enjoyed the “Serenity” cabin for our long weekend! The location was perfect, peaceful and nicely secluded. It is a beautiful cabin with comfy furniture, new appliances, wood burning fireplace and hot tub on the front porch. The king size bed was super comfy and oh my!!! What a gorgeous shower ????? it was the cabin you wish you could stay longer than you booked ? We will certainly rent here again! Shelia was very nice & friendly. Thanks for hosting us!

Great cabin! We had a great time! Our only complaint is that the hot tub was set at 92 degrees and was even at 92 when we arrived at 9:45 pm. It took a while to warm up so we could enjoy! Other than that we were able to find everything and did not go without! Thank you! We will return!

What a beautiful one bedroom cabin. We decided to do Christmas away and this was a perfect place to stay. From the fire pit, spa and quiet neighborhood. All was enjoyed. The cabin was decorated with a Christmas tree, elf on the shelf and other beautiful things. The stone work in the shower made it feel luxurious. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed to prepare a meal.As you can tell we really enjoyed ourselves.

Serene beauty. Just what we were looking for

The serenity cabin is a very cozy and comfy cabin. The location is perfect and only 10 minutes from Helen.

The cabin is beautifully decorated. We got this cozy, warm feeling when we first walked in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hope most definitely to be back.

The cabin was dirty...the blinds were covered in dirt and thick dust on areas of the walls. The cabin smelled very musty. It was clean the last time we visited so this was disappointing.

The cabin and grounds provided a cozy environment to escape and relax in the tranquility found in the woods. It did rain a part of each day of our 5 night stay, which allowed the wet weather creek to run full. W enjoyed the spacious hot tub each night of our stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and amenities provided.

We know we were in the woods, however, there was an abundance of ants all over our things. The front door had a gap in the bottom big enough for a snake to come in. The air conditioning was not working properly.

This is a very nice cabin and the hot tub is amazing. A nice location only five minutes to downtown Helen.

We loved our stay! We had a great time and this was a lovely cabin. We would definitively stay here again!
