7 Mi to Northstar Resort: Tahoe Vista Family Cabin

Overall this was a nice place to stay, clean, lots of fans, owners and property manager were great and a prime location. That said, some of the electrical outlets did not work, particularly in the master bath, the kitchen sink was clogged and we had to have a plumber come out. The carpets on top of the carpets are a bit of a hazard as you can trip. The beds were really firm so expect that. There was no dish soap, more towels were needed and there was not enough utensils.

Great stay in a convenient location to the lake and Northstar.

Everything was perfect for the family of 6. The master bedroom was huge and everything was functional. We enjoyed the proximity to Kings Beach. The place was quiet and peaceful.

First, loved layout of house. BUT: No tv cable. Only four glasses and we had six people. Only one dishtowel in the whole house. Flannel sheets on bed. Awful and too hot. Found confetti on floor. Housecleaners did not vacuum thoroughly. I am usually a very positive reviewer (but I rarely take the time to review!). This could be an awesome rental. Owner needs to just take care of these things, and we would be happy to stay there again. Excellent location.

We love this cabin, the area is quiet, the house is spacious and has everything you can possible need, the garage was big enough for my truck. Just the perfect place to rest after a day at the lake.

This location is close to the beach and other activities near North Lake. The owner was very accessible by text. It was pretty hot but there were fans which helped. Nice washer & dryer and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely would book again.

The code for keyless entry was all we needed. Didn’t receive it. Second option was to call the contact person and get it. Phone was turned off or something so we lost the afternoon time we could have been setting up for the stay. The stay began in frustration. House was ok other than some of the furniture was broken or breaking down and not useable.

My wife and I, and our two little babies ( 2 year-old Jackson, and 1 year-old Samantha), had the best time staying at this cabin. The location was excellent and the house was perfect for our family. We will absolutely be staying here again.

We had a great time. The house accommodated our group (two families - 4 adults, 4 kids), perfectly. The yard is open and flat which makes it easy for kids to play, and they loved the playscape. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was clean, and the laundry machines are huge and work well! The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and only about a seven minute drive to the Tahoe Vista boat launch. We would definitely stay here, again.

The property was clean and very functional. It snowed while we were there. Of course that was beautiful. The snowplows came quickly to clear the streets. There was only three of us but this place could easily accommodate 9 people without using couches. It is very convenient to shops and stores.
