The cabin was perfect I had my daughters 1st birthday here and we dressed as fairy’s and in forest theme outfits the wifi was perfect and there was activities for all of my family to enjoy

This place was magical. The owner was generous and kind. My three year old loved the kids bedroom. The upstairs loft has three twin beds, kids toys and books. This place would be ideal for multiple families or a large family. My family of 4 loved it and didnt want to leave.

Our family loved the Strawberry Corner property for many reasons. The house gave each one of us the perfect place to relax and renew. We took turns in the hammock, swinging our worries away while gazing at the tall tree tops. The host's attention to details and decor made each room a delight. My daughter loved the Cowboy-themed bathroom with the big tub. My teenage son loved having his own Cowboy Cabin, with TV and bathroom out by the game room. My mom and I loved working side by side in the cozy, country kitchen with the classic old stove, reminding me of summers with my grandmother. We had no desire to eat in town because the cabin was so cute and we could choose to eat on the deck under the tall pine trees, in the rosy dining room, or in the strawberry-studded kitchen. Even the outdoor space around the cabin had fun things to discover: a mini-zipline, horse shoes, an antique sleigh, plus - a lighted gazebo over-looking Strawberry Creek, and a path to the creek! It was a beautiful vacation and time to unwind.

The Strawberry Corner property is such a gem. It is unabashedly sentimental with outdoor areas that bring it home - gazebo, hammock, lovely little areas to sit. The interior is fanciful and old fashioned, but it is a hundred year old house. A garage for your car, or to play ping pong and darts. There are wonderful private corners so that a family can stay there and have their own favorite spots. The entire attic space has been turned into an enchanting space perfect for little children. We could also have a safely fenced yard for our dog. I would definitely go back again.

The cabin was beautiful and impeccably clean. Lorraine was charming would definitely come back again.

It was great for our grandchildren, all fenced in and close to everything. Sad that it did not have a grill. Still, we had a great time.

You can’t get a better location to town with plenty of privacy. The creek sound was so peaceful to hear while sitting in the hammock. The house had so much character for being 100 years old. The host was accommodating and very responsive. Great weekend getaway. We will re-book for sure.

Love this cabin! My brother and two sisters and I meet in Idyllwild twice a year and stay at this cabin. It is cozy but roomy. Love the huge fireplace and the large deck. If fact as I said before we just love the cabin!

This is the cutest cabin ever! We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay from having a fire in the beautiful fireplace to feeding the birds and the squirrels with the peanuts provided. It was so fun to lay in the hammock and look up into the trees. The creek that flows by is such a beautiful sound. You can tell this cabin has love poured into it by the joy it brings. Walking to town in the morning for coffee and in the evening for dinner was so wonderful! I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Strawberry Corner! It was such a charming cabin and the location was absolutely fabulous. The property is very well-maintained. The sleeping areas were all very cozy & beds very comfortable. We loved sitting on the back deck with our coffees listening to the creek right behind the house. The long creek walking trail was gorgeous- such a hidden gem! Loved how close it was to walk to town.Loraine was super responsive (we didn’t need anything though- everything was covered- bring your own shampoo & shower soap!) check in/out was seamless, self-serve.So excited to have found this option for a last minute stay & can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful property!

This place has charm and comfort and the location cannot be beat! We loved relaxing around the fire place and listening to Strawberry Creek from the deck. The bedrooms/bathrooms had nice separation for 3 couples. Dogs loved it, too. I wish I could give communication with owner 6 stars because she really went out of her way to troubleshoot a booking/communication problem with VRBO. Can't wait to go back!

Just as expected. Lovely older cabin that fits right in the area. Local retailers know of this cabin and described it as almost an icon to village. Loved it as it was so cozy. Also great accessibility to local shops, restaurants. Would highly recommend.

The old style of the cabin. Plenty of room indoors & out.. Has a cute image, my girlfriend love it. Is in a great spot for walking distance to everything, restaurants, coffee shops, market..Only complaint was the front door to get to open/close was frustrating.. other than that a good time, thank you.

This place is adorable. Perfect location right on the Strawberry Creek trail. 4 minute walk to downtown. Our host was wonderful, she made the check in smooth and helped us with everything we needed. Quick response time!

The house was perfect, cozy, comfy and welcoming. Sitting my the fireplace with a glass of wine. enjoying good food in the kitchen and games in the dining room. The cabin was immaculate in every detail. And nice to walk to town. We didnt need a thing....the owners were so gracious as well.

The main cabin is genuinely rustic while the granny cabin is a bit more modern. Both if the cabins and the grounds were peaceful and enjoyable. We enjoyed the proximity to the town and nature surrounded us. Feeding the Stellar Jays, squirrels and chipmunks on the rear deck was a joy!

Impeccably maintained 1922 Mountain Cottage with large fenced yard and a short walk to town. well- equipped, adults loved it, kids loved it, dog loved it.

An amazing cabin that reminded me of how I grew up. Can’t say enough of how beautiful it is. The surrounding trees. The Quail. Awesome location to walk into the town center. We will be back for sure. Management is beyond accommodating.

First time trip to Idyllwild. Very convenient location for walking into town although the initial part is without sidewalks. It’s only about 5-10 minute walk. The house is ok. Exterior areas getting a little rough. First floor bed was comfortable.

It was a lot of fun to stay at this wonderful house despite the fact that the beds were really uncomfortable. Strawberry Creek is delightful!

Magical 100 year old cabin! Ladybug swarms in the afternoons, squirrels, Steller's Jay birds (big blue jays that love peanuts!) Beautiful grounds, tons of room inside and out. Kids loved the private path to creek.

We came with my sister and her family and had a simply wonderful time. We fed the birds, enjoyed the hammock, played darts and ping pong, felt cozy and comfortable and loved walking to and from town and down to Strawberry Creek. Will definitely be back!

Large corner fenced lot with charming decorative touches and a gazebo. Easy walk to town. The home is amazing with antiques and everything we needed for a relaxing happy get away. Really comfy king sized bed. Our little dog was safe on the deck and we could hear the creek when we sat there.

The cabin is amazing, the town is close and wonderful. I am looking forward to coming back again soon!

Very cute and charming house with an extremely rustic vibe. Garage disposal wasn’t working, the doors were challenging to open and lock and it was cold downstairs while hot upstairs. The fourth bedroom was detached from the house and we weren’t able to turn on electricity after multiple times. The decor was adorable and unique and the location was great. It’s very old which is part of the charm but you need to be aware of appliances not working if more than one was plugged in. It was great for a girls trip if you are going for a low maintenance laid back weekend.

Happy 100 year anniversary to the coziest, prettiest, most comfortable cabin in Idyllwild. You don't look your age!We were blown away by the cabin's charm, but more importantly- our host, Lorraine, really gets it when thinking of what a guest needs. She was a great communicator and we had everything we could want while we were there including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, ample space to unpack into, and hooks and pegs where needed (this is my pet-peeve in a lot of rentals: many have nowhere to hang your wet towel, coat, purse, ect.). I should be gate-keeping this lovely property but I won't! The inside of the main house and Cowboy Cabin are roomy and well-decorated, and the outdoor spaces are super nice and big with lots of places to sit and read or enjoy your coffee or wine.We will be making an annual winter trip to the Strawberry Cabin!

We rented strawberry corner for the week of Christmas and it was decorated and magical. Perfect place to stay for a Christmas getaway with the kids.

We all had such a wonderful time staying at Strawberry Corner! The location was close to town for walking to shops and restaurants, and the grounds were so beautiful and forested! The owners decorated this wonderful historic cabin for the holidays which made it so festive! Thank you for making this such a special spot for our family weekend getaway!

Our family had the BEST time! The house is right on the edge of town-perfect for walking! The house had everything we needed and more. We cannot recommend this property higher and plan on making this a yearly tradition!!

We had a great time as usual. Will always choose to come back. However, I would like to say that the new furniture is not comfortable.
