The cabin was beautiful and so was the view.

We loved the view. The screen porch was a comfortable place to hang out. As it rained most of the time we were there, we were unable to take part in any outdoor activities. We really didn’t mind, as it was a perfect time to lounge around, sleep late, and totally relax. The hot tub was great, and we were able to use it when the weather cleared. There are cabins up and down the road, but the cabin is situated for privacy.

This is a very nice little cabin, and in a good location for some fun in the mountains. It was nice being able to take our dog with us.

Enjoyed the cabin and appreciate Matt allowing us to decompress and celebrate birthday. Cabin was quiet and clean.

The cabin was perfect for a week getaway! Hot tub was perfect, everything was perfect!

This cabin was top notch! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable, but the view was the best part of all. It is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The host was easy to communicate with and check in and check out were easy. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

Great views the cabin had everything you could want for a relaxing week in the northern Georgia mountains, hot tub was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing, the host Matt does a great job of communicating and we had no issues at all! Worth the drive from south Florida.

Matt was very responsive! Sent information about the area. It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and screened in back deck. The home was clean and well supplied. We enjoyed the Blue Ridge Scenic Train and Mercier Orchards.

Location is great for day trips. Wildlife around cabin is great. Host keeps in touch to let you know what is happing.

This cabin is very cozy with an amazing Mountain view. Everything we needed was provided including great relaxing hot tub. Would definitely stay there again however steep narrow road was a little intimidating.

Stunning view. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy. No problems with appliances, getting into the cabin, and amenities. Plenty of dish soap , laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, bug spray, spices etc. available. The hot tub was balanced. Owner provided great communication and directions to the property. 10/10. Definitely recommend and we plan to go back.

My 77 year old father and I wanted a dog-friendly place in the mountains to vacation for a few days and looked here as an alternative to our familiar North Carolina options. We had a wonderful time at Matt’s cabin! Google Maps got us there, no problem, but I’d suggest orienting yourself on the map first and to arrive with daylight if possible. The roads are manageable, but curvy and narrow with some steep edges. Read the directions provided ahead of time. Keep your eyes open, we saw deer along the road to welcome us to Cherry Log. Check-in very easy! Beautiful cabin right from the entrance. Well supplied kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Screened in porch and hot tub were perfect. Even in summer with nights at 70 degrees, hot tub at warm setting was still amazing at sunset. No issue with bugs or mosquitos! Beautiful mountain view inside and from patio. House is senior friendly, except upstairs which is a sleeper bonus/game room and bathroom. Very comfortable and open living area / kitchen for lounging. Very responsive host throughout! We accidentally left a cup, and he and his cleaner shipped it back to us. What more could you ask for?!Enjoyed the local dog park, hiking, breweries, downtown Blue Ridge and recommend William’s Tire Shop if you run into trouble. We needed a patch. Would highly recommend the cabin!

Charming with a great view of the mountains.

The cabin is wonderful.There were deer everywhere. The view is endless. We loved the rocking chair on porch, hadcto come home and order one for my self. We had a wonderful time and also went to ,the lilly pad and had a great time there . The people that run it are wonderful with the kids and my dogs. I will be looking to stay in the cabin again soon. We had a wonderful stay at this charming, remote cabin! Tucked away in the mountains, it offered the perfect blend of peace and comfort. The drive up was scenic and full of wildlife — we spotted several deer along the way, which was such a treat.The cabin itself was exactly what we were hoping for: cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, and the screened-in porch quickly became our favorite spot to relax and take in the fresh mountain air. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the cute, rustic decor throughout — it gave the whole place a warm, homey feel.My son especially enjoyed our nearby adventures, including a fun visit to the Bigfoot museum and playing at the 2nd story indoor golf course. It was a great mix of quiet downtime and unique local attractions.We’re already hoping to return for another peaceful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort!

The cabin was awesome with great views. The hot tub was a plus. However the drive up is a bit challenging with several big potholes. The road is wide enough for one car but cars can be coming up and down at the same time. I would recommend this cabin, for sure!!

The cabin fit our family of 5 and our dog very nicely! We brought one rocker downstairs and another rocker inside from the screened porch so that we could all have a place to sit while we watched a movie. We cooked our dinners in and found everything we needed. Loved that there were lots of cozy blankets Plenty of towels for showering and for the hot tub. Great views to enjoy the hot tub.It takes almost 15 min to drive to the cabin once you turn onto the development and gps worked correctly for us We were able to get to Blue Ridge in just under 20 min. Our family enjoyed the train ride and we had lunch at the Cuban restaurant- delicious sandwiches! We liked the area- was so peaceful. Enjoyed watching a pileated woodpecker chase off some black crows in the morning with a cup of coffee and rocking in the glider bench. I would recommend for sure. Cute place

We loved our stay and wish we had booked for the whole week. Each night we were in the hot tub with that amazing 180 degree view of the mountains.

We had a great honeymoon in this cabin. Its the perfect size with a perfect view. The screened in porch and hot tub were great! Matt was super helpful and responded quickly any time we had a question! We will be back!

I went with my sisters for a weekend of relaxing, wine tastings and shopping in and around Blue Ridge. The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size. It was clean and the view from the hot tub was beautiful. We already talked about when we will stay here again.

Beautiful home and wonderful Mountain Views. The weather was great and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. We had everything we needed there for our getaway to enjoy some much needed R&R. Very private, and only 15 minutes away from the beautiful town of Blue Ridge. Will definitely return.

This is our 2nd time staying here for my birthday. I’ve been looking forward to it and I’m so thankful we got to come. We enjoy playing board games, putting together puzzles, watching movies by the fire. We enjoy baking together and relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin was perfect for our family getaway. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. We wanted to use the grill, but it was charcoal grill. We didn't realize that so we didn't bring any charcoal. Just keep that in mind if you want to grill at the cabin! LOVED the screened in porch set up and the hot tub.

Cabin was beautiful! Wonderful view! So many things to do in Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Especially loved Reeces apple orchard and the apple cider tasting!

We enjoyed the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, walking around Blue Ridge and McCaysville, and relaxing at the cabin. The listing tells you all you need to know. Beautiful cabin, well equipped. We lost power for a while but we found a flash light. Our dogs enjoyed it too I brought a gate so they couldn’t go up to the loft. Downtown is great too.

We rented Eagles new for 2 nights 3 days. Check in with no problems. Everything was as told on my check-in on line. This cabin is very well upkeep. We enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle's Nest Cabin! Although we were not fortunate enough to see an eagle, the kettle of hawks circling was awesome to see. The cabin was just as described! We hope to return very soon.

Overall was a nice cabin and the host was very courteous and quick to anwser any questions and that is a big thing for me personally. Check in was a breeze. Anybody can find little nick picking things but I won’t even go there. It’s secluded enough for your privacy. It’s high up in the mountains and that is what I loved. Me and my wife really enjoyed it. I would stay again without question.

The view and outdoor space did not disappoint, and the place was stocked with bath/hot tub towels, which was a nice touch. However, I thought the cabin lacked intention and cleanliness. There were dead beetles and spiderwebs in the loft next to the bed and game basket, which made my little one hesitant. I understand it’s a cabin in the woods and impossible to keep bugs out, but these items should’ve been tidied up prior to arrival. The game pieces were thrown into the bins and disorganized, and the foosball table was not level, which made game play a little terrible. I also found an empty bottle of personal lubricant on the floor next to my bed downstairs. Happy for the last guests who stayed there, but I should not have had to see it and throw it away. Overall, our stay was okay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the cabin was missing those promising little personal touches. For instance, the bowl of fake apples could’ve been real apples from a local orchard. There were no streaming services available on the TVs. The upstairs shower head provided little water pressure, and is a very basic model. There were 4 crappy wine bottle openers, one of which was broken. There were no curtains to keep out the light in the morning. Also, the hot tub was so overly chlorinated that it burned our eyes and ruined the experience. I hate to be nit-picky, but for the rate (fees and cleaning fee), we were disappointed. I think the cabin would benefit from a little TLC.
