The ride to and from the cabin on narrow mountain roads was harrowing for us Floridians, but the cozy little cabin complete with Christmas decorations and floor to ceiling windows showing off the most incredible view was well worth the effort! The cabin was well kept, clean and felt like home. The hot tub worked perfectly and was clean. The heaters in the bathrooms were a wonderful addition on our cold evenings. And, the location was perfection, we got to Ellijay and Blue ridge, as well as excellent hikes, a winery and cider house with ease. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The cabin and the view were wonderful. The road up to the cabin was treacherous. Blue Ridge needs to update those mountain roads. Parts are washed out.

The morning views from the kitchen were great. Our host Mr Brinkley was unintrusive but easy to communicate with. He showed concern for us regarding the winter snow storm forecast for our departure day. Since we left in a rush, we forgot my son's sneakers and Mr Brinkley offered to mail us them to our home. I'd love to stay again.

Beautiful property with a wonderful view! I would book again if I was to be in the area. The only thing I would suggest is the kitchen needs new pots/pans as they are pretty worn.

Property was exactly as described with even more perks than expected: coffee, sugar, utensils, even spices! The automatic ice bucket was such a gift. Games, DVD player with a couple of movies; some issue with HDMI cable missing, but if you’re in nature lover, you easily can adapt. ;) Quiet, peaceful mornings; the sheets weren’t over washed with detergent as I’ve sometimes found other places, so lounging later was a treat – specially with the Jacuzzi bathtub. spectacular view from the hot tub with firewood for burning outside and point rustic rocking chairs to enjoy your morning, coffee as we watch the fog dissipate over the mountains.Matt was incredibly responsive and made checking in and checking out very easy and clear. Enjoy the drive up from the highway and be careful – no need to rush. Wish check-out were a little bit later… :) Beautiful stay.

This was such a relaxing getaway! The hot tub and covered porch with mountain views were highlights—we spent every morning out there with coffee enjoying the peace and quiet. The location was perfect for exploring waterfalls and lakes, and we loved having so many dining options nearby (Southern, BBQ, Mexican—you name it). We also visited the nearby distillery. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the mountains!The cabin was perfect and very clean. Don't let the comments about the road scare you - yes it can be narrow at times but never an issue even when meeting another vehicle. We navigated up and down many times pulling a trailer with our kayaks.

We had a great time in this clean cabin with a beautiful view. My kids loved the little loft, and it had everything we need for a comfortable stay.

Views were amazing & cabin with well decorated & very quaint. Check in process was simple with great commutations from the property manager. However the cleanliness of the cabin was very disappointing. Excessive dog hair on all surfaces including with shower, tub in the main bedroom, appliances in the kitchen & especially the furniture. I started to wipe down the sofa only to find excess dog hair & dried dirt from little paws. I wound up having to find a fitted mattress sheet to cover the leather sofa to feel more relaxed. Overall, nice cabin which felt secured but housekeeping was VERY disappointing. Toiletries were parfair. Will not be returning for 500 for 2 nights.

Host was very welcoming and fast to respond to any needs we had. Cabin was very peaceful and quiet.

The host was super responsive and accommodating of me last minute having to bring my two dogs. The outside of the house itself was extremely dog friendly which was a great surprise as it’s a little hard to tell in the pictures. The view and the hot tub are the real stars, though. Couldn’t recommend this cabin enough! *side note: the drive up is kind of iffy, but worth it! My SUV made it up just fine.

Thoroughly enjoyed our February stay for my birthday! Matt was super communicative and supportive regarding the seasons snow and ice storms happening right before we were supposed to travel. We ended up making it on schedule and having a blast. The community is gorgeous, the cabin was homey and spotless. The patio was perfect for our morning coffees and the hot tub was lovely for the cold nights.

We had such a wonderful stay at Matt's cabin! The view was amazing, the cabin was clean and well-equipped, and Matt was a responsive and accommodating host. There were also pet-friendly perks such as a small, fenced dog run and gated porch. The location was serene and tucked away, but also close to nearby towns and things to do. Would love to come back for another visit!

Matt is a “super host! During our week long stay, we had a winter snow storm, and Matt checked on us several times. The cabin was very cozy and had a great view of the mountains! We look forward to coming back in October for my husband’s birthday.

We could not have been more pleased with our weekend at the Grand View Cabin!!! The view was amazing!! The cabin was clean, orderly, and had everything we needed for a weekend in the mountains! The fireplace & hot tub were an absolute treat! And the price was phenomenal!! We greatly appreciate the support from the host along the way & the affordable cabins he is providing!! We fell in love with Cherry Mountain! We will certainly book again next year!! Also, the Christmas decorations were the cherry on top!!!

Cute little cabin and great area with a view. Close enough to Blue Ridge. Road is a climb, but paved which is a plus! Hot tub was great with the chilly weather! Downside would be the cleanliness of the cabin. It is overdue for a major deep clean. This came as a surprise to us from the description and raving reviews. The leaving duties were a little over the top as well when fees are charged in the rental. Lastly, we came in late and left early, they’re stricked on having the lights off, even claiming a bad review for leaving them on. It made it difficult for visibility, ultimately a safety concern. Overall, not the best, but has potential to be the best.

The property is absolutely beautiful with a beautiful view. Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Love the fenced in pet area…that is definitely a perk to have to not walk your pet on those roads. However, it is a great walk for your pet if you wanna walk up and down the mountain and get some exercise. Hot tub was clean and clear.. Owner (Matt) was fantastic. Quickly responsive. We will definitely be back and recommend this property.

The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. More than adequate supply of linens. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of hot water for shower. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful view from porch. Close to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. (We prefer Ellijay). Would definitely recommend. Very nice host - communication-A.

We had a very relaxing time at this cozy cabin. We loved the view, and star gazing from the hot tub in the evenings. Matt was an excellent host. He checked in to see if everything was going good, and ask if there was anything we needed. If you are looking for a cozy quiet cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle this is it. The view is amazing!

As they say in real estate- location, location, location! The view of the mountains from the front porch and the huge open windows in the kitchen and living room is beyond comparison! Plus this cabin was extremely clean, had everything you might need, and the owner was extremely responsive and welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about my stay.

Had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed sitting on the deck gazing at the mountains and sky. Hot tub was nice to relax. We did see a bear and fox down in the woods looking over the deck. We did 29 miles of hiking in the state parks and Appalachian trail. Visited Elijay, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, McKaysville and Copper Hill. Loved the Pink Pig BBQ and Cajun Depot near by. Owner was receptive and the reservation was perfect. Thank You for having us.

What a view! This cabin is our new favorite place to stay in Blue Ridge! The road up the mountain can be steep, but it is paved and well maintained and absolutely worth it! We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and having dinner in the awesome dining area with floor to ceiling windows. Thank you Matt, for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

This well-appointed cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was impeccably clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, and amazing views. Centrally located, it was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge with nice shops and great dining. We had a fantastic visit and would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to get away and disconnect for a bit. The roads are rough if you aren’t used to driving up and down mountains, so be careful! Overall, we had a blast!

We needed a mountain place near Atlanta for an extended weekend following a 3 day conference in Atlanta. Property was perfect. Secluded. Sweet view of the mountains. Close to hiking for nature bathing. Hot tub to soak in. Close to town. We would definitely choose this property again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and the view was lovely. Cabin was cozy and well provisioned. Our Golden Retriever loved the porch that opens up to an enclosed dog yard for potty breaks when we went in to town. Wouldn’t change a thing!

A View and accommodations

The view was absolutely amazing for starters! Matt recommended someone who sells firewood locally and we were able to have a wonderful fire both nights. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook some meals. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday!

We had a great stay here with our friends and our dog. Amazing view and loved the hot tub.

Apple direction was pretty accurate, but was helpful that the property owner gave additional direction, so we can find the house pretty easy at night. Place is clean and got everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and indoor fireplace very much and the view was spectacular. Tom, the wood guy delivered enough wood for our stay at a good price. Highly recommend for a couple or family vacation.

I truly enjoyed my stay in this cabin. It has a beautiful front porch, and it was so peaceful to just sit in the rocking chairs and look at the mountains and listen to nature. My two favorite parts of the cabin were the kitchen and the jetted tub in the bathroom. The kitchen has everything that you might need, and it has a round table with four chairs. The view from the kitchen was outstanding, so you can still get a mountain view while eating if it is too cold to sit outside. The jetted tub inside was amazing, and I loved sitting and just soaking in it. There are two bedrooms and a loft. One bedroom has a jetted tub, sink, and toilet attached. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a toilet, and it is accessible to everyone and not attached to a bedroom. East Main Street in Blue Ridge has many cute little shops, and it is not a far drive. I didn't eat out much, as I mainly ate in the cabin. However, I did order a chicken salad sandwich online from a place called Cantaberry (also on East Main Street) and took it back to the cabin. It was an easy place to order from, and the sandwich was very good. The host, Matt, is a very nice man, and he communicates very well. He was very responsive any time that I had a question. I would absolutely come back.

The cabin and views were beautiful. We fell in love with the Blue Ridge area last year and decided to stay here for our honeymoon. The location made it very easy to enjoy our adventures. We would definitely return.

Sitting in the Jacuzzi in the a.m. hours overlooking the m.ountains of Cherry Log was very tranquil, the views were spectacular, and it was very peaceful and quiet.
