Beautiful cabin in such a perfect location. The views are incredible and the cabin is perfectly appointed with all the amenities of home. We cooked all meals there except one and had everything we needed. The weather was gorgeous and we ate our meals outside the entire time. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet mountain getaway that feels like home, this is a great place. The owner was extremely helpful with checking in prior to arrival to be sure we had everything we needed. We will return.

Our family of four with two teenagers loved staying in this peaceful cabin. The kids had a great time unplugging and playing the board games available. The hot tub was relaxing both in the morning and evening.

We also visited Murphy, NC about an hour away. Cabin views are spectacular. We also saw snow which was awesome for us Floridians in March. Highly recommend this cabin.

Outstanding Host and property

This was a Great experience....loved every minute of our vacation

The purpose of my trip was to spend a few days alone hiking the North GA trails to decompress from a busy work schedule. The cabin was perfect size for me. Master bed was comfortable and the wood burning fireplace allowed for good unwinding after spending the days on the trails.The only thing keeping me from giving this stay 5-Stars was that the hot tub gave me a rash the only time I got in it (which can happen anywhere at anytime). Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect and I would definitely consider rebooking this cabin on my next trip to the Elijay/Blue Ridge area.

Cabin was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The view was outstanding even from inside which was great as it was quite cold and windy. My wife loves seeing deer and she was able to do this daily. Cabin was close to town and the road for the most part was paved. The only thing I would suggest is to upgrade the BBQ grill but it was usable.

Cozy, real fire place, amazing view and wonderful hot tub. We definitely want to come again.

Host provided all information for an easy stay, mountain cabin had beautiful views, clean hot tub, nice clean amenities inside -everything you need for a wonderful mountain vacation! We stayed three nights and would love to have stayed longer!

This was a wonderful getaway weekend! We LOVED the cabin!!

Cabin exceeded expectations overall. Very well kept and stocked. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had prior to the rental and very easy to work with. The only traffic we saw were 5 deer “commuting” down the hill every morning. Loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great place to unwind for the week. We loved the location and Matt was a great host.

The cabin was very comfortable. The view was worth the drive up. Had trouble getting to cabin upon arrival. There were some street signs turned and bad weather didn’t help. Patience and owner FaceTiming helped us get there. Kitchen needs some newer pots, skillets and smaller drink glasses, etc. Beds very comfortable. Husband really enjoyed sitting on deck.

We had a great stay at the cabin! Everything was so clean and the instructions were very clear on check in/out. We also had everything we needed for cooking the food we brought! There were enough towels (a group of girls!) for everyone and the views were wonderful!

Bearfoot Cabin was exactly as advertised! The cabin was gorgeous, the views were spectacular and the hot tub was amazing! It was easy to find and an easy drive into Blue Ridge. The hosts were easy to communicate with and I would definitely come back. It was a perfect mountain getaway vacation.

This lovely log cabin offered a remarkable experience in beautiful Cherry Log, GA. The location is close enough to conveniences to feel connected to resources and far enough way to feel connected with nature. The view was remarkable and offered an incredible opportunity to commune with the mountains. We enjoyed daily morning coffee on the master balcony and gratitude meditations. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and enjoy the pleasant warmth of the house. And the jacuzzi was heaven after our long hikes to the nearby waterfalls and walks on the Appalachian Trail. And I cannot say enough good things about the owner, Matt, and his clear, consistent, and expeditious communication. Simply everything! Highly recommended for families, couples, or friends looking for a retreat.

Great Views. Comfy cabin with plenty of room. Flat driveway was a blessing for loading and unloading. Air conditioning worked great. Clean and tidy. Would stay there again.

This place was amazing! Beautiful view, spotlessly clean, and everything you could need was provided in the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Even down to coffee filters, extra trash bags, tissue, you name it. And the host was easily accessible and very accommodating and thorough. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I stayed here for my 40th birthday and let me tell you, the images of the views do not do it justice. Fabulous location, only 15mins from Downtown Blue Ridge, and the accommodations were perfect. We took a drive the Yonah Mountain Vineyards which was gorgeous, then went to Helen to explore the little town. It was Oktoberfest so there were outdoor festivities going on which made the night! Downtown Blue Ridge is just perfect as well. We would stay here again!

The cabin is situated wayyy up the mountain and it was beautiful drive! The home was well stocked which was great since we wanted to stay in and cook. We enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning stove. The home was clean, the beds were great and there were plenty of towels! I enjoy staying at homes that aren’t major rental companies more and more! You tell the difference and that difference is usually the great communication with the host! I highly recommend!

We love the Blue Ridge area and love the outdoors. Our plans were to take multiple hikes. Due to the weather, hiking was limited but enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the wonderful view! The hot tub was a welcome retreat!!! We enjoyed our time on Cherry Log mountain!!!

This property is a perfect location to relax and take in the views. The photos of the property describe the home perfectly. The hot tub is fabulous with all functions working properly. The master bedroom with the balcony and double chaise lounges is a great spot to take a relaxing nap. The wildlife in the area is quite amazing from wild turkeys, and deer walking by daily. The internet and tv viewing are great and ample to do anything you might need to do. The home is well stocked with about anything you can think of that you may need for cooking. This is the best VRBO property we have stayed at in our many years of using VRBO. Matt is very easy to communicate with if any questions may come up. We will definitely be back to stay again at this property. Thanks Matt for being a wonderful host and providing a great rental option in the north Georgia mountains.
