Awesome spot! Host was very helpful with all our questions, very quiet outside, beautiful interior and amenities, and the hot tub is very spacious (we fit 7 fairly comfortably). Definitely recommend!
Overall wonderful : It is a ‘Grand Chateau’!
We had a mini family reunion and everyone was comfortably situated. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
10 ladies stayed at the cabin and truly enjoyed our stay! The property was perfect for the occasion and the owner was a joy to work with!
We had the grooms side stay in the house prior to the wedding ceremony, and we couldn’t have asked for a better house! Beautiful interior with a large backyard and fire pit made a magical weekend in the mountains!
Not for publication. Overall very good/nice. But niece works for Hilton Hotels and always inspects her bed for bedbugs. We put her in the 2ed floor bedroom with the queen bed. She found evidence of bedbugs and even showed me one live one on the bed spring. It moved so it was alive. She spent the 2 nights sleeping on the basement couch with towels for blankets. No one slept in that bed. We checked all the rest of them. They were clean. -- Best item - Loved the outdoor hot tub. Had 7 people in the group. 5 adults. 2 children.
Perfect location beautiful home. Perfect for our large gathering..Everyone enjoyed our stay
This property had plenty of room for the 12 of us who participated in a wedding nearby. Every aspect of the cabin was perfect for us as we were tired from each day's activities of cooking, prepping, set up, and then the wedding day. The kitchen and dining table were big enough for all of us to enjoy the friends and family in attendance. The beds were comfortable and allowed us to get some good rest. The hot tub was also very nice. Very important to me is good communication from the owner, and whenever we had any questions, the replies were near immediate. Great stay and when back in the area, we will be back.
Great!
Wonderful family weekend with ample room for 3 families. Loved the backyard and hot tub!
Loved the cabin & location. We were there for a wedding so the location was perfect! I did give one star for communicating with the owner because we never heard from them before or after the rental! They may do it all through VRBO just not my experience that I’ve had!
Family stayed here comfortably for a long weekend while friends stopped by when it was convenient for them. The cabin could hold so many more people than the 9 we had, but many friends got a hotel nearby because they also wanted a romantic getaway with all the activities close by. The cabin has so much more to offer than pictures and description show.
This is a beautiful cabin and so much more than we ever anticipated. From the moment that we drove up on our first day we were amazed at how spectacular it is. The cabin was very large and accommodated our huge family. There are so many fun things to do while staying here, and we will definitely be back!
We loved our stay and loved the property! Beautiful location and loved seeing all the deer!
Lovely area conveniently located to wineries. Lots of beds and a well-stocked kitchen. Nice hot tub and fire pit. I suggest you bring some camping chairs as seating is limited inside as is lighting. With more chairs and lamps I would have given a 5 for sure.
We enjoyed our stay at this rental. My husband and I got married in Dahlonega and wanted a spacious place for our family to stay for the week. I love that Linda allows dogs because our two dogs are apart of our family and we were extremely grateful to have them there. The property is easy to get to and the driveway/parking is accessible. Additionally, in reference to parking... there is a ton of it, which is nice. The house itself has a lot of beds... but not many rooms. I think the game room could have been set up in the common area downstairs, allowing that room to be used as another room. The cleanliness was good, but not great. The amenities, appliances, and décor in the house are a bit outdated but is still offers that cozy cabin feel. Overall, the price was a little steep for the quality of the cabin; but my family and I enjoyed our stay and working with the owner, Linda.
We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. There were some minor issues that were addressed immediately by the owner. She was great to work with and very accommodating. The fire pit and hot tub were enjoyable, along with the quiet location.
Our daughter got married at White Oaks Barn, which is a very lovely venue. Our family and friends stayed at the Grand Chateau and we had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for everyone, enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. Wonderful place to make great memories.
Great location to town and wineries yet quite secluded. We made two glow in the dark signs to mark the main road and the driveway. It is dark at night and this made it very easy to see as we did a lot of coming and going for all the events.
Plenty of room for 9 adults and all our cycling gear. Fun evenings at the fire pit. Communication was excellent and was able to arrange early check in which was really helpful as we all arrived from different parts of the country.
Great communication with the owner, place was nice and clean, good amenities, we were happy with our stay, thanks!
Everything was phenomenal! We all really enjoyed our time here. Everything was clean and in good working order. We loved the set up of the place. It worked out great for our group of 13. We had a few mishaps, but Linda handled these in a very timely and thorough manner. She was also very prompt in answering all of my inquiries. The cherry on top though came after we left. One of our dear friends was traveling with a keepsake that has unimaginable sentimental importance to him. He accidentally left it behind. Linda went out of her way to make sure it was returned to him. ASAP. I definitely recommend this place and Linda could not have been sweeter. Thanks for great memories
The house was a really good size and location for our family getogether, but furnished in run down, cheap thrift store finds. Mattresses and pillows were good, but linens were old and worn. There was not enough silverware for 7 of us, and it was mismatched and bent. There was an XBox, but very few of the games worked. Faucet in downstairs bathroom didn’t work. The air hockey and ball game didn’t work, or were missing pieces. The house was not inexpensive, but everything seemed to say “You’re just renters, so here’s the cheapest possible junk for you”. It was OK, but it didn’t quite meet expectations.
We had 6 of us staying here and it was so spacious! A couple people from my sons wedding needed a place for a night, so we were happy to be able to oblige! We enjoyed the huge kitchen and hot tub, plus had a couple gatherings around the fire pit. We brought along our own Kanjam amd cornhole and just had a wonderful pre wedding few days. Husband and I loved the quiet the last couole of days there alone….wonderful place for a family gathering fir sure!
