4 Mi to Sugar Mtn: 'Rocky Creek Cabin' w/ Hot Tub

We were very impressed with how wonderful the cabin was, from the impressive decor inside to the landscaping outside, including the very large Rododendron, the creek in the back to the flowers and man-made waterfall in front! The hot tube was a big hit.The beds, pillows and linens were exceptional. The kitchen is the most well-equipped with very nice dishes, pots and pans and glassware.

Traveled with family and 2 small dogs to enjoy the July Fourth holiday. We enjoyed the peaceful location and is convenient to restaurants, shops, trails and wineries. The cabin is very clean and the furnishings are beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and love into their place. Would definitely recommend!Pam

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and have made a nice effort to have just about anything you could need available. We enjoyed the gas fire table on the back porch. Be sure to bring fire wood if you want to use the fire place. We used it every night we were there. There were body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in our shower, a basket of light blankets you could use to sit outside on cool evenings, dog food bowls and king size beds. The location was great!

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at Rocky Creek Cabin. It was a perfect setup for 4 of us! The house was remote enough but still close to access Highway 105 central to Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Hope to return in the summer so we can sit outside by the creek. Fantastic property, clean and has everything you need. My family visits this area every year for skiing, tubing and fun, this is by far the best place we’ve stayed at over the past 7 years. They’ve put a lot of thought in the details. The rooms/beds are comfortable, our kids enjoyed the foosball table, kitchen is fully stocked and the backyard views with the creek are incredible. Check-in process was easy. I highly recommend this property to others.

The neighborhood is beautiful. The location is perfect mountain getaway. It snowed while there so enjoyed the snow and went sledding. The cabin was perfect they thought of everything you would need and it was spotless. Definitely will be going back to this cabin. Went with our daughter and husband and their 2 year old , plenty of room and space for everyone and all our activities.

Rocky Creek Cabin has everything you could possibly want in a mountain getaway. The area is quiet and secluded, yet easily accessible to areas for dining, hiking, shopping, and exploring. The cabin is extremely clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to get back to the cabin.

Rocky Creek Cabin is comfortable, clean and convenient. You only need to pack your clothes and personal items because the home is well stocked and organized. There is a Lowe’s Food Store and Walgreens about a mile and a half away. The area is home to many wonderful vineyards, so go get yourself a bottle of Blue Ridge wine and enjoy the fire pit or hot tub on the lovely deck! You’ll also enjoy drinking your morning coffee on the front porch swing with the sound of the beautiful water feature located in the front yard. It’s also a short drive to Grandfather Mountain Park and the Glenn Cove Viaduct. You can be to the Town of Blowing Rock, Boone, or Linville Falls in less than a half an hour. The cabin was great for our toddler son and 2 dogs as well. We really appreciated the safety gates on the back deck and inside staircase. We loved everything about our stay at Rocky Creek Cabin!

Our family really enjoyed this cabin - it was so beautiful! Absolutely spotless. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the creek off the back deck. As well as the beautiful water feature in front of the cabin as we sat on the porch swing. Great location - convenient to so many things!

This house / property was really something special! The interior of the house was modern, well equipped, and beautifully constructed with breathtaking woodwork, high vaulted ceilings, and attention to detail. The back deck with hot tub overlooking the babbling creek was also a highlight, and the property owner / manager was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We had a wonderful time here and look forward to staying again as soon as possible!
