Our North Shore Lake Tahoe cabin is centrally located in a quiet Carnelian Bay neighborhood between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. We are just a few blocks off the lake and within walking distance to Gar Woods Pier Restaurant & Bar as well as The Old Post Office coffee shop. Stateline North Shore Casinos are only 10 minutes away and shopping or dining in Truckee is only about 15 minutes away.

The cabin has 3 stories. The main floor (middle) includes the kitchen, family room with wood burning stove, a bedroom (king), a full bathroom and the laundry room. Also, there is a large deck off of the main floor which includes a barbecue and a patio table & chairs. The upper floor (3rd) has 2 bedrooms each with a balcony, and a full bathroom (room 1 has a king and room 2 has a king and 2 twins). The lower floor (1st) has a large family room with a couch, tv foosball, and a bedroom with 2 queen beds. A sauna, a 1/2 bathroom, and a bathroom with a separate shower are also on the 1st floor.

Winter Activities: Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley, Northstar, Diamond Peak, and Homewood are the closest ski resorts. There is also a sledding hill within 2 miles of the cabin with plenty of parking and snowmobile rentals and snowshoe trails as well. Northstar ice skating is always a favorite too. A bowling alley in Incline Village is about 9 miles away.

Summer Activities: Patton Beach is within walking distance to the house where Waterman's Landing offers coffee & food as well as kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. Sand Harbor Beach is only 13 miles away and Kings Beach is only 3 miles away. River Rafting on the Truckee River in Tahoe City is very popular and is only 6 miles from the cabin. There are numerous boat launches nearby and plenty of parking in the driveway for a boat trailer. Fishing in the Truckee River or the Little Truckee is a short drive as well. Many hiking trails are close to the house and Emerald Bay is a very easy day trip. Magic Carpet Miniature Golf is within walking distance to the cabin as well.

This place is amazing. It’s perfect for families and close to the lake and a reasonable drive to skiing. The sauna is the most amazing part- it is seriously better than I see at most spas. The kids loved the foosball table and there was plenty of space for the kids and the adults to do their own things!A couple things to keep in mind:1. The stairs are very steep so I recommend a baby gate if you have kids under 4. 2. They require all dishes to be washed and put away before leaving so make sure to account for extra time when leaving.

We just finished a lovely weekend here! Location was fantastic and we enjoyed walking down to Carnelian Bay and having drinks at Gar Woods. House was comfortable and Brandi was extremely easy to communicate with.

The house was large and able to accommodate a large group. It was dated and funky, but really good at the same time. The floors squeaked when walking around so anyone who wants to sleep in should definitely stay on the top floor. The biggest downside for us was that all of the dishes had to be clean and put away before checking out. We are used to having everything in the dishwasher for checkout so we scrambled last minute to get everything hand washed and put away before we left. Small downside.I would recommend this place for future stays. Lots of space in the driveway. We were able to back our boat into the driveway and leave it connected to the truck.

This cabin was great for our group of 9! There was more than enough plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc. We especially loved that it was so close to the water and that the living spaces were big and didn’t feel cramped. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely home in North Lake Tahoe! The house was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent—very responsive. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the lake where you can swim, kayak, or paddleboard. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing Tahoe getaway!

We had a great time in Tahoe. Kids all happy bobbing around the lake all day, lots of great food to share and epic game nights every evening. House had everything we needed and had plenty of room for all 7 of us. Good place to stay with a big group.

It has a really good location, and the cabin has all the required amenities, only I wish they could clean the balconies from some of the rooms, they have lot of pine needles, spiderwebs and pollen, those we dint usually use them but I think doesn't give proper feeling of a clean place. The communication with the hosts is excellent, they are very responsive and very kind. I'll recommend it and will stay again there in the future.

Three couples and we all had our own floor! Bathrooms on each level. Great kitchen and a huge counter. Big living room, plenty of seating. Close to town and the lake. Flat drive in/drive out driveway for snowy conditions. Property owner was very responsive and fantastic to work with. 10 out of 10 will book again!
