The cabin itself is indeed beautiful. The layout on the top floor is a bit odd. We chose this cabin because we had 4 small children and the playroom looked welcoming. It is a cute little playroom however, it is located in a closet in the master bathroom, and can only be accessed via another bathroom/laundry room or the master bedroom itself. Since two of the children were under the age of two (one an infant), it was difficult to leave them unattended in there, as they are curious and would often explore outside of the playroom. Also, there is an abundance of items for babies and children however, the one main thing that we would have liked to have had and surprisingly could not find was a baby gate for the top of the stairs. The flight down is quite steep. As far as cleanliness, the home itself was clean on the surface however, we found a couple of mismatched socks in and under the couch as well as an empty Sprite bottle behind the dresser in one of the bedrooms so the attention to detail could be a bit better. Finally, there are a few amenities that require a propane tank but all tanks were empty and when we asked the host, they did alert us to an outside storage that supposedly had full tanks however they were all empty as well so we were unable to use the skillet or fire pit. Communication was so-so. We reached out a few times, and it often took a while to get a response or there was no response. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there is room for improvement.
Amazing cabin! Nice and clean! Will rent again! ??
We stayed for 5 nights and the place was great. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms even with soaps, towels, nightlights and more. Clean linens and clean washer/dryer. Not as much grassy areas as the pictures make it look but enough room for our dog to use the bathroom up and down the road. Steep driveway and road, just FYI. Nice back patio area to sit and read.
