Cabin was really clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of kitchenware. Glen and Min communicated from before the trip until the very end. We enjoyed our time there with our friends and it made our last summer with our daughter a memorable one! The only thing I would suggest is that the drive up to the cabin would be easier if you had a 4 WD vehicle. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin Glen and Min!!

One of the most beautiful cabin in the mountains with breathtaking views. Amazing host who always responded promptly and was extremely helpful. Pulling into the driveway at dusk we were greeted with a spacious house basked in the setting sun. Didnt want to leave cause it was so inviting. When we did we were looking forward to returning to our home for the weekend to relax. Close to any activites and stores. Love it.

If you're looking for a peaceful, secluded retreat in the mountains, this cabin is an absolute dream. Tucked away among towering trees, it offers complete privacy and a truly serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The sunrises here are breathtaking—watching the sky light up over the mountains while sipping coffee on the deck was the perfect way to start each day. The cabin itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a warm, cozy, and relaxing stay. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable furnishings, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The hosts were wonderful—attentive, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. One important note: you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to navigate the road leading to the cabin, but once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. This hideaway is the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and simply enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

Cabin is beautiful but inaccessible for anyone without a 4WD. Last mile is steep twisting gravel road with several soft spots even in good weather . We could not make it uphill and slid backwards into ditch having to be towed before we could even unpack. The next day we ventured out and again got stuck just attempting to get to the cleared spot short of the driveway trying to back uphill enough to get into spot , sustained more $ damage to my SUV than the 4 days rental - called it a loss and went home early. Again weather was perfect!

Our family of five (three kids age 16-21 and my husband and I) stayed for five days and had a wonderful time! First, the final 5 mins of the drive up the mountain is very steep, but my Mazda3 hatchback did fine (the road was mostly dry). The property itself is very remote - about 30 mins to the nearest grocery store, but the drive up and down was so gorgeous, we did not mind. The cabin itself had everything we needed, including sheets, pillows, kitchen supplies and food like oil, flour, sugar, spices and tons of syrup. The washer dryer was much needed and appreciated, though we did have a little trouble turning it on. The bathrooms came with hair dryers which was also very appreciated. The hosts deserve an A+++ for responsiveness and friendliness. We had a storm on our first day and they checked in on us like they actually cared! I didn’t expect that. What a pleasant surprise. We played games, watched movies, and relaxed. It was a wonderful stay.

Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. The location was very nice. We were close to Asheville and Lake Lure, both of which were fun locations that had a lot of stuff to do. And the house was very high up in a mountain, which had great views. The hosts were also very responsive, and any time we had an issue they were able to respond quickly. I thought the dinner plates were very enjoyable. My favorites were the white square ones, that felt like they were always just the right size for the food I was eating, and they were easy to clean off. The fact that they were a square a not a circle was novel, and made them enjoyable to eat off of. Overall the house was a great time, at a good location, with good amenities.
