Small but Cozy three bedroom one bathroom cabin sleeps 7. Cabin features knotty pine and rustic décor. Perfect place for your next hunting, fishing, or snowmobile/Ski getaway! Linens are provided and plenty of towels are available.
Bedroom one and two both have comfortable queen log beds, the third bedroom features a twin log bed. Sleep an additional two on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Electric fireplace in living room for a cozy up north experience. We have added aWindow A/C Unit and each bedroom has a pedestal fan. One Bedroom also has a Television.

High Speed Internet (Wi-Fi) with Cable Package

Fire-pit located on rear side of property with table seating. Propane Grill on porch near front door. Wonderful market in walking distance to pick up everything you need for a great BBQ! Window Air Conditioner is newly installed as well as a privacy fence in the back yard for increased privacy at fire pit/BBQ area.

NOTICE!!: Home is located off of M-55 (Caberfae Hwy). While it is set back from the road, it does front on a highway. Wellston IS a small town with a decent amount of normal traffic but summers and holiday weekends do get busy. There is also a road behind the property that is a seasonal trail that is not county maintained. Infrequently traveled except for holiday weekends. No Refunds will be given due to it's location on the highway as it is clearly disclosed in this listing.
Home is centrally located in Wellston, Mi. Right down the road from the Tippy Dam / Tippy Backwaters, Big Manistee River, and the Pine River. Large adjacent parking lot for snowmobile staging! Ride snowmobiles directly to trail from the cabin!!

Close to Manistee, Cadillac, and Traverse City for shopping. Crystal Mountain Ski Resort/ Caberfae Peaks. Crystal Mountain Resort also has a very nice spa! Visit Sand Lake for nice clean swimming, stop by the Dublin General Store for some of their famous Jerky, kayak or float the river, or have a nice BBQ! Check us out!!

Can we bring our pet
Unfortunately we have many guests with pet allergies and pet hair/dander is a constant issue. We are not accepting pets at this time.

What do we need to bring
We supply toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, dish soap, sponges, linens/blankets/pillows for beds (beds are made for guests) as well as towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, mini shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc.. We suggest bringing anything you feel you may need in addition and reviewing our amenities and supply list in it's entirety prior to traveling to your rental.

What activities are available in your area
The activities in our area are nearly entirely outdoor recreation activities. Blessed to be located in the Manistee National Forest we are lucky to be very close to some amazing hiking/fat biking trails such as the Big M and the North Country Trail. We are surrounded by lakes and rivers as well. Kayak or canoe on the Big Manistee, the Little Manistee or the Pine River. Watch the salmon run in the fall in small creeks or fish one of our many small lakes. We are also located only about a half hour from Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches. Shopping is available in Manistee, Ludington, and Traverse City. Our area also has many ATV and Snowmobile trails and trail maps are available online and in the welcome book at our cabins. This cabin is located approx. 20-35 minutes from Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks for skiing and snowboarding. We are located 25 minutes from the Little River Casino and our area hosts the Hoxeyville Music Festival Annually as well!

What is your cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if your stay is cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival. We will make every attempt to rebook your dates and you will receive a refund if we are able do so.

    Check in was great, check out great…they supplied all necessities and lots of them!! Best part was having packets of coffee grounds…who doesn’t love a fresh brewed cup of coffee in the morning. Place was very clean and bed was soooo comfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay at

    Very nice, clean cabin. We didn't have any hot water the first morning. I contacted the owner and she had it fixed within an hour. The cabin is well stocked with all the essentials.
