Stayed Oct 20, 2025Absolutely wonderful stay. The cabin is just so warm, comfortable and cozy and inviting. The owners have done an excellent job ensuring their vacationers have everything they need for a great stay. This was the best appointed vacation rental I have experienced. Hope to make this an annual senior girls trip to Blue Ridge and we will definitely stay at Whitetail again.

Stayed Oct 15, 2025The cabin was beautifully decorated, well organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for our trip. The customer service before and after our stay was wonderful. The location provided challenging hikes for us, and we loved the chapel, lake, and wildlife. We would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Blue Ridge and plan to return again. It was the perfect place for our lil getaway!

Stayed May 28, 2025My husband and I stayed for our 37th wedding anniversary. The owners attention to detail in the decor of the cabin was so evident and beautiful. The cabin was stocked with everything to make it your home away from home. Although it rained every day but one, the covered back porch with mountain views, rocking chairs and eating area were more than perfect. Blue Ridge is very close as well as several other small towns to visit. Great communication by owners and managers.

Stayed Mar 6, 2025Our stay at Whitetail Retreat was absolutely wonderful! We arrived with an easy check-in process and were impressed with how clean and well-organized everything was. The cabin was better than expected and felt very homey. Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with—she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us many recs before we arrived for things to do in Blue Ridge area. The highlight of our stay was definitely the back deck—it was breathtaking and we spent most of our time there! Beautiful wildlife and the cabin felt private but still surrounded by the well-maintained community. We also loved how comfortable the beds were. Such a cozy cabin and the perfect size for our little family. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

Stayed Oct 25, 2024View from the cabin porch is to die for. The listing doesn’t do the property justice. We had the best stay. Secluded and quiet. The cabin itself was clean and quaint. Only recommendation is to replace the pillows - they’re pretty flat. Luckily we had brought our own. We had an amazing stay.
