Stayed Dec 21, 2022The cabin was nice. Very pretty. Could be a great little getaway spot to enjoy the snow in winter time. There were some issues. We found it difficult to evenly heat the house using the heater and fireplace. Nothing insurmountable. We managed. There was a dirty pan in the oven and a used coffee filter in the coffee maker when we went to use them. Also, my daughter in law had to vacuum the carpet so my grandson could crawl on the floor without getting whatever crud was there on him. We were surprised to find these items as they were since there’s such a substantial cleaning fee. Speaking of a cleaning fee, I found it odd that we were required to basically clean the place ourselves before checkout. We had to remove used linens and put them in the laundry room, load and run the dishwasher, take out the trash and take the can to the street. I’ve never stayed in a place that required such things AND charges a cleaning fee. Lastly, and this isn’t that big a deal, just disappointing, the pool table was missing a ball. Honestly, the pool table is what tipped the scale and made us choose that place over another in the area that looked as nice if not nicer. When I contacted the owner about this she was apologetic, however not appropriately in my estimation. We could have been reimbursed somehow, but it wasn’t even offered. All in all my family had a good trip in spite of these unfortunate circumstances. Given the the chance to rent it again I would probably save $600 for two nights stay and get a hotel and let someone else clean up after me just as I’ve done in every other place I’ve ever stayed.

Stayed Aug 5, 2022We had a great time staying at this property. Great location close to grocery store and bars/restaurants. Tons of room for all of us. Loved the backyard trees, enjoyed time on the patio watching the rain. Pool table was a hit as well. Would definitely stay here again, so much room for everyone.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great cabin feel. Beautiful and peaceful stay! Cabin was great for 8 people. The back covered patio was a beautiful setting even in the slow rain. Easy to get to get to. Quiet and relaxing location. Would highly recommend. Hope to come back. Loved our stay!! Questions were answered quickly by the owners.

Stayed Jul 19, 2022Peaceful beautiful getaway. Easy to get to property. Great for our family of 8. Loaded with lots of amenities. One main bedroom on the main floor. Other bedrooms upstairs. Two steps from the living room to the kitchen and main bedroom. Owners are very prompt to address any issues or questions. Wonderful stay for us all.
