1800’s restored log cabin on 26 private rolling wooded acres with sunset views

If you like a different kind of rental, rather remote, picturesque, quiet and private, this may be for you. 1800's cabin atmosphere with enough modern amenities to be very comfortable. A good get away from it all place.

We arrived at the cabin at dark. The cabin appeared very cute. The host provided the arrival info via email. The cabin was very cute and very clean. Everything was provided and all instructions as well. My husband an I were there for a peaceful getaway from the city. The cabin met all of our needs and more!

The cabin was beautiful. So peaceful. Communication between me and the host was great. Would recommend this place and this host to anyone needing a break from life.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, clean. We were looking for something secluded and rustic with fishing and this place was better than could have imagined. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch watching the fish jump in the pond. We were kept safe by the friendly dogs that were so sweet. The bed was so comfortable we were asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows. Everywhere you look there is something cool to see. All the added touches by the host made it even more special. It was like having a scavenger hunt. We will definitely be back!

As soon as you walk in the door, your troubles melt away. Its absolutely breath taking and veyond relaxing. Perfect place to unwind and reconnect. Host has thought of everything! Its very clean and well stocked. We absolutely love it!

I wish I could fit a whole experience in one review! We came to Madison for a music festival and decided on a stay out of town, and boy am I glad we did! This spot is a gem. The details put into the decor, and the way if feels comfortable yet back-in-time is amazing. The quiet comfy weekend away was a much needed reprieve, and we intend to be back!

Francine’s cabin is such a peaceful perfect spot. We’ve been coming here for the last 8 years for Labor Day weekend. It never disappoints!!

We were in love with all the little historic pieces in the cabin. The property was absolutely stunning with a view that was beautiful even during storms. I dropped it a star in accuracy because it was missing the old stove and the dock that was pictured in the ad.

Cabin and property are beautiful! The old cabin has a lot of charm and is well decorated. Porch that overlooks the pond was one of my favorite spots...spent every morning out there with a cup of coffee watching the wildlife. If you want a relaxing place to get away from it all for a bit, I would highly recommend this cabin!

Quiet and peaceful

This was our second stay at this cabin. The setting, the view and the cabin itself are just perfection. Very clean and well stocked. Absolute peace!! Will definitely return next year.

We had such a great time! The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook, we also enjoyed the camp fire. Everything was clean and comfortable. Got to meet the neighbors dogs twice and they're so nice! Thank you so much for letting us stay.

WE ENJOYED THE SECLUDED SETTING OF THE CABIN. SAW DEER AND ALL KINDS OF BIRDS AND SQUIRLS. WE EVEN HAD TWO FOUR LEGGED VISITORS COME THAT IS THE PLUS THINGS. IN THE CABIN, HARD TO WALK AROUND WITH ALL THE DECOR . WE WERE ALWAYS AFRAID OF BREAKING SOMETHING. SOFA AND RECLINER IS BROKE DOWN VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. NO DOCK LIKE PICTURE. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO FISH FROM AS PLANNED TO DO. ANY WALKING ISSUES NOT THE PLACE TO GO..ROADS GETTING THERE VERY NARROW AND CURVY. BEAUTIFUL PLACE WE ARE OLDER AND CAN'T ROUGH IT LIKE THAT.

A rustic cabin with great views and plenty of privacy.

We loved our stay! The house is charming and perfect for two people. We loved sitting on the porch swing listening to the fountain in the pond and watching the sunset each night. We loved the quiet and peaceful location. I hope to return next year!

Such a unique and quaint cabin. The sunsets were amazing! The cabin was beautiful and the Indiana hills are so relaxing.

The property has potential, but not maintained to the level of Vrbo posting. There were peaceful and tranquil moments and then there were the neighbors to the north reminding you that you are not that secluded
