10 Mi to Sugar Mountain: Cozy Newland Cabin!

Graat little place. Isolated, yet close enough to go out to eat and get groceries easily. Highly recommend.

When we arrived the AC was not on so it was muggy in the house and they were window units in each room. They were loud at night turning off and on. The Wi-Fi was not working so the host stopped by unannounced, would have appreciated a call or text first. House was not clean, spider webs, and bugs in the house I assume from having the windows partially open for the window units. Bathroom smelled like pee and kitchen counter was not wiped down. Will not stay here again.

Cabin was quaint, and adequate for us. However there was not much closet / storage space. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking breakfast. I never could get connected to internet service (maybe the cabin was in a low spot that houses around it blocked the service.) And it was hard to find. GPS and signs weren't clear that house numbers were not continuous numbers. not sure how you could write that into the description.

We visited family for Father's Day weekend and needed a place to stay nearby. This fit the bill.

This cabin is perfect for a couple or small family. Clean, great size and quiet location.

Property was nice but needed some cleaning. Ceiling fans were coated with dust and window seals had mold. Overall was fairly clean but you can tell its a quick cleaning service doing just enough. Beds said 2 queens but the second bedroom seemd like a full not a queen. Also we had dogs and it was very nice to have them but whoever was there previously or someone in the area left an absurd amount of dog feces in the driveway. Definitely a nice place but needs a little attention in my opinion.

This VRBO was in a very cute neighborhood that still offered privacy. Very clean when we arrived. Both my husband and our pup loved the patio and spacious backyard. We would stay here again!

My sister and I stayed for a long weekend. Perfect amount of space for the two of us. Very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and plenty of places to hike.

This lovely oasis is in a neighborhood with lots of activities, and is close to many scenic attractions and great restaurants! Would definitely return!

The cabin was clean and checked all our boxes. We spent the first day at Grandfather Mountain before our 4pm check in. The beach and pool at Linville Land Harbor had so much to offer, we also used the game room and kayaks. An evening fire with smores in the backyard was a perfect ending to one of our days. The River Trail around the lake was beautiful. A day in Banner Elk was fun, the walking trail/park, ice cream, arcade and Banner Elk Cafe was a big hit. We will definitely be back, there are still so many things we didn’t have time to do. A friendly place to visit. The host truly has a little gem right here!!

The house size was perfect for two adults and the location was close to everything.
