A private 8' x 10' covered deck is surrounded by our gardens full of serene flowers, trees and plants. Five steps down from the deck you will find the walkway to the breakfast lounge. Continental breakfast every morning with an assortment of teas, coffee, water and juice. We offer biscotti and fruit plus snacks. We love to bring a unique Yurt bed & breakfast experience to all our guests.
Yurtel-Veneta is located close to 8 different wineries with spectacular views, food, entertainment, and tasting rooms. Located 10 miles from Eugene and an hour drive to the beautiful Oregon coast. Once you have stayed in a round Yurt, everywhere else just seems square.
Loved this Yurt glamping experience. We stayed while attending a U of O Football game. Beautiful drive through the countryside on the way to the Yurt. The Yurt itself was clean and spacious with everything you need. The Owners were sweet and very helpful and the brownies were delicious! The gardens around the yurt were well kept and beautiful to look at. We enjoyed our stay. Only downside is private bathroom has door and walls but ceiling open to rest of the yurt.
First off, the gardens are amazing! The owners were so nice and accommodating making sure we had everything, needed anything. The yurt is nice and very unique the way the bathroom was added and very clean. I would say, if you are sensitive to noise, you do hear traffic we are not sensitive to noise so we slept great. I would stay there again if I'm ever back in the area.
Things got a little weird and uncomfortable during our stay to be honest. Patricia, the matron of the establishment (there are actually multiple yurts lined up in a row behind their house that they rent out), went into a bit of overdrive with her religious proselytizing. At the end of it all, she tried to load my wife up with religious paraphernalia and, likely due to my lack of interest, insulted me on the way out. It's really very sad because we were kind and gracious with them to a fault throughout the duration. Hosting people with this kind of purpose in mind is frankly a violation of the trust guests place in their VRBO hosts. Patricia clearly demonstrated that she would benefit from learning some basic manners and developing a healthy dose of maturity.
Great property, beats staying at any hotel in Eugene or Florence. Close to both areas. Very clean and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet. I did not get to spend a lot of time with them, but I hope I can come back one day. Very updated for all amenties.
Friendy welcoming couple greeted us like family. Beutiful garden surrounded the yurts, comfortable and cozy all around!
Great place to stay with kids! Cozy and clean, owners were very friendly.
Very nice stay with friendly host.
Everything was very clean. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The yurt was quaint and cozy. The refreshments and snacks offered in the welcome area were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
I have booked many homes through VRBO, but this was by far the best hosts we have dealt with. Jim and Virginia were friendly, responsive and beyond accommodating. If you are in the area, I could not recommend them enough! We stayed here to attend the Nike National Outdoor track meet and I would stay here again!!
Jim and Patricia were incredibly kind and gracious hosts. I was visiting with my son to check out U of O. The yurts were extremely clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding were fantastic, and Patricia made a wonderful breakfast. She also offered my son and I pieces of homemade German chocolate cake, which was the icing on the cake for our 2 night stay. Much thanks to you both and we hope to return!
Such a fun unique place. Great service and we loved the breakfast in the morning
Our stay at the Yur-tel was wonderful! The hosts made every effort to provide for their guests (complimentary wine, snacks, and breakfast) and check-in was a breeze. The yurt was extremely clean and very roomy. I would definitely stay here again! Next time we'll stay long enough to do a little wine tasting at nearby wineries!
Loved the yurt. Very comfortable. Wonderful hosts and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Very comfortable with everything we needed. Roomy with really comfortable beds, lots of towels, & very clean. Friendly hosts and yummy food. Thank you!
Super helpful and friendly hosts, yummy food, fun yurt with bears and flowers around. Noisy road but ear plugs are provided. Recommend softer lights in the bathroom. Those are so bright. And maybe a little lamp next to the other bed. Otherwise everything was pretty perfect. Just a short drive to Florence and the coast. A little store is down the road, Dairy Queen around the corner and other small restaurants. Thank you for your kindness.
The property was charming and well cared for. The yurt was adorable and very comfortable. The air conditioning was great, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast!
Very clean and comfortable. The hosts we're hospitable and informative!!
