Stayed Nov 19, 2025I recently stayed at the Nags Head with my son. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and locals alike. We stayed in a twin room which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast within the restaurant during our stay. The food was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed Aug 13, 2025I received a warm welcome on arrival. The staff were friendly, helpful and fitted me in for an evening meal. The food was excellent (one of the best burgers I have eaten) and the breakfast was also very good.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025Had a short 1-night stay at The Nags Head. We arrived later in the evening but were warmly welcomed by friendly staff who helped us check in and made sure we had everything sorted for the next morning. Breakfast and service the following day were also excellent. Would definitely recommend, and I’m already thinking to book again for a longer weekend stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have recently stayed for 5 nights bed and breakfast in November. The nags head is a proper English traditional pub with bead and breakfast facilities. The pub sells great evening meals and the breakfast is lovely. The rooms are small but cosy. The best part are the staff thou who are lovely and always go that extra mile to make sure your stay is a good one.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Relaxing venue, friendly and helpful staff, the food is very yummy and the big boy's breakfast is suburb. Also, nearby is a great English Whisky distillery! We will most definitely stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room was great, powerful shower, very accommodating staff who fitted us in the restaurant at the last minute, stunning food, lovely breakfast, loads of private off road parking. Caitlin was on it in the evening and even cooked breakfast! Would happily use again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We originally booked our room at The Nags Head because it was close to the English whiskey distillery and because of previous good reviews we’d read - we weren’t disappointed. Lovely, clean room with everything we needed in it. The well stocked tea/coffee making facilities were much appreciated. Considering we were staying in a pub our room was very quiet, we enjoyed a great nights sleep! The food that we had for both our evening meal and breakfast was very good. We’ll be back!
