Very cozy room and nice people who owned the house. We only met Wayne but he was very cordial and kind. The dogs were wonderful as well :)

Nice home. We were attending a wedding in Quogue, and this location was convenient. Wayne is a great host.

We loved the friendly dogs as we entered the home and the owner was hospitable. The area is very safe with restaurants nearby. We would have preferred a guest house instead of a room within the residence but it was our 1st time and for 1 night stay. Thank you : )

Cozy room and home. Doggies, Prince and King, were friendly and welcoming. Wayne’s parrot was fun and says “hello”.

Thankful for the beautiful home that we stayed at, for a beautiful wedding of our cousins ? Every aspect of this home, was beautiful, and the extra care of their thoughtfulness, will be treasured for always ???☀️

I was given a code to get into the home and greeted by the two dogs who jumped on me as I entered, one dog jumped onto my Left arm that started bleeding due to dog tearing my skin. I went to bathroom washed it, applied toilet paper to get it to stop bleeding , found two bandaids in my car. I met the owners later that day outside and mentioned it to them. Later my friend showed up we went to dinner, came back, the dogs greeted us again, jumping on us. we got up the next day to go to our bike ride, the owners were up to do a cater job, Wayne did hold off princess and told me to give her a knee to keep her from jumping. We returned late that night around 10 pm after the bicycle event. The dogs jumped on us again. That next morning at 5:25 am they started pacing and barking outside our bedroom, and did not stop until 6:11 am, the owners never came down to get the dogs, it was very frustrating. We got up at 7am to leave, we noticed the dogs peed in the hallway outside our bathroom and in the kitchen, so that was why they were barking. The room we stayed in is small, we had to move things to make room for our bags.

I had such a nice and relaxing stay! The dogs were awesome and the owners very kind and easy to be around. Will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Fairly clean overall. Dogs do roam free in the common areas and do greet you every time you walk through the door. They are sweet but can be a little jumpy. Wayne is a nice guy who accommodates. Pool is shut down for 2025 but he compensated a credit once that was made known on day of check in.

We did not stay, because nobody was there when we arrived and we were not aware of a door code. When I knocked, I was greeted by two barking dogs. Not aware of their temperament, we left. We would like a refund.

Very nice property in great location and very clean and well appointed.I only have one con is having the the dogs among the guests, not everyone is a pet/animal lover .

Host was friendly and upbeat. Room and bathroom very clean, comfortable bed and great snacks.

We booked our stay here for two nights in July 2025 and were so disappointed. This property is not as advertised. The negatives: 1. I thought it was odd when the owner emailed us the entry code and said be careful not to let the dogs out. Turned out that the two dogs, although very friendly, stay in your space, while the owner lives upstairs! My husband nearly tripped over one that came up behind him. Since we had traveled all day and arrived very late we went directly to bed. At 10 pm we were awoken by their barking. This happened two more times before the owner brought them upstairs. Then we woke up to them digging at the floor. Not even sure what time that was. 2. My husband noted feces on the underside of the toilet seat and what appeared to be blood on the bathroom floor, which he took pictures of to send the owner. 3. The pool was not usable. The water was green and about 3 feet below its normal level. The next day we left at 7 am and called the owner to say we would not be staying and asked for a refund. He apologized about the dogs and said the pool had just got a leak and he hadn't had time to fix it, which is understandable if it were true. But as pool owners we know a pool doesn't turn that green in just a few days. The positive: The bed was extremely comfortable, but all the other negatives FAR outweigh that. We received a partial refund for one night. We have emailed him explaining we expect a full refund after what we put up with but have not heard back.

We needed a place to crash after attending a nearby wedding. It was perfect. Greeted by owner and 2 friendly dogs.

Really like the place. Nice setting, friendly owners, adorable dogs, comfortable room, and an amazing welcome.

It’s a room inside the house. It worked great for me that night. Only issue I had was operating the electronic lock to enter, I thought I was doing it right but it wouldn’t work. Eventually I figured it out and was able to get in

This private home guest room was adequate to accommodate two adults but better suited for a single person. The hosts were very friendly. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and supplies. There was drawer space for clothes but only peg hanging space. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice addition.

I had a quick in and out and it served me well. I was disappointed that the pool wasn’t open as that’s what attracted me to the place. Most notable: the abundance of air fresheners! Host was very responsive.
