Stayed Sep 22, 2025Tesuque Outpost is a secluded gem! I stayed in casita H on the upper elev. Not only was the casita beautifully furnished with everything you need, the views from the large windows in the front of the casita are incredible! The casita is very well equipped with essentials as well as a few non-essentials like a clothes steamer & 2 French press coffee carafes! There is also a Kiva to take the chill out or just enjoy. What I found as a big plus was how quiet it was. You can have people in all 4 casitas & not hear a thing! The location couldn't be any better. If you drive about 11 minutes South you have access to gas stations, 2 grocery stores, a CVS pharrnacy & restaurants. Another minute and your at Canyon Rd. art district or the Plaza. Less than a mile North is Tesuque Village Market & Restaurant. Great pizza! The nícest thing about this rental was if I had a problem or question or wanted to extend my stay, they (He) responded quickly! I highly recommend Tesuque Outpost casita H. I can't wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed Sep 19, 2024The place is beautiful- a traditional Santa Fe adobe-style, has great closet space, great views, and is quiet. It is on a rise, and because of this it has better views than most locations in Tesuque which is in a valley. One thing the listing did not make it clear is that it is not a stand-alone building, but connected to at least two additional units. We had a problem getting a good nights’ sleep there. We arrived in the evening and tried to turn the heat on with the thermostat which was in the living room area, but it didn’t work. I contacted the property owner who offered to turn the heat on remotely, but that only turned on a split in the bedroom, not the baseboard heaters throughout. After about an hour, the bedroom was too hot and the living room was still cold. We ended up making a fire every night, and while that was nice, the warmth didn’t last the night and the pull-out couch had only a sheet and thin cotton blanket for it which left one of us not sleeping well every night. I would be sure it has been fixed before going again, especially if you need to use the living room for sleeping, otherwise you will be. cold.
