Stayed Feb 12, 2026Sunset Inn is fantastic!! The host was friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. He made sure we knew exactly what was available during our 4 night stay, right down to sunset and sunrise times, which is important because you're only a 5 minute walk to the coastline. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the fireplace. The parking area looks small, but the spaces are generous enough we had no problem parking our full size truck. Housekeeping was friendly and attentive, as were the main staff (we had a light bulb go out and it was quickly replaced). We would definitely stay again!!!

The hotel room was clean and the location was outstanding with a short walk to a wonderful path along the ocean and about a mile from downtown Pacific Grove with a good choice of restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely come again at the price point.
