Sunset Inn - Charming Beautiful Inn (First Cabin)

My stay here was fantastic. Came to celebrate my wife and i’s 10th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect spot. Rishi and the team were very accommodating to helping me make the stay special for my wife. They arranged cider/wine for the room with rose pedals in the shape of a heart on the bed along with fresh flowers on the table, it was a great surprise to my wife. After the room service cleaned the room while we were gone for the day, they left healthy snacks and more fresh flowers on the table which was another surprise when we returned. We will definitely be back anytime we come to pacific grove/monterey area.

Sunset Inn is fantastic!! The host was friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. He made sure we knew exactly what was available during our 4 night stay, right down to sunset and sunrise times, which is important because you're only a 5 minute walk to the coastline. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the fireplace. The parking area looks small, but the spaces are generous enough we had no problem parking our full size truck. Housekeeping was friendly and attentive, as were the main staff (we had a light bulb go out and it was quickly replaced). We would definitely stay again!!!

Very nice experience. The hotel room was clean and the location was outstanding with a short walk to a wonderful path along the ocean and about a mile from downtown Pacific Grove with a good choice of restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely come again at the price point.

Lovely, comfortable, clean room. The owner was very helpful. Short walk to the beach to see sunset. Easy access to 17 mile drive, Monterey, Big Sur, Carmel. Location was perfect!

Very high quality rooms. Excellent hospitality service. The view from our room was not like the photos in the ad, but we spent most of our trip outside the room anyway. Great location for walking or running the trail along the beach.
