Street Level Studio Apartment in Amsterdam City Centre.

Stayed in this apartment for a week in mid-May. Was excellent for public transport. I think the photos portray apartment when it was first converted from the garage. Found apartment to be in need of a good clean and food left in fridge and in cupboard from previous guests. There is no access to fresh air apart from the front door and I was loath to leave this open as the area felt a little edgy (drug rehab place over the road). The TV didn't work despite Richards efforts to hook it up to his wife's WIFI. The pub next door and the cafe next to it were good and provided good meals. Supermarket close enough. I wouldn't return.

We absolutely loved our trip to Amsterdam. Richard was a splendid host, and very welcoming & responsive. The apartment & atmosphere was beautiful & close to all amenities including grocery & the subway. Beds were comfortable & shower great. I highly recommend staying here!

Ground floor apartment just on the edge of central Amsterdam. Rich couldn’t have been more helpful and available. There were 3 of us to share a double and single bed in a large open room. Might bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper but we all slept great!

Location was wonderful, close to metro and tram. Communication with owner was timely and friendly.Suitcase racks would be a nice addition so bags are not on the floor. Listing says sleeps four but that means someone would be on the couch. We'd go back!

The hosts were very accommodating, it was a wonderful location with no street noise..would stay here again coming back to Amsterdam

From the pickup at the airport to the apartment- the welcoming drinks and breakfast foods, the stay was perfect. Very congenial host!

Within 2 min walk of both the Metro and Tram stations. Very nice accommodations with private bath and walk-in shower.

We were very pleased with the apartment. There is a restaurant right next door, and the metro station is just steps away. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Richard, our host, provided useful information. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

We had an excellent stay. The apartment was great and the bed was very comfortable. Rich was an excellent host and even picked us up from the airport. The apartment is minutes away from transportation options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable bed, very close to metro access, big fridge. Very good communication from host even though he was on vacation.

We liked the flat! The washer did not work and since it was the end of a 3 week trip we were disappointed. But enjoyed everything about the area, the city and the owner!

The apartment is lovely and had most everything we needed for our 9 day stay, including a sweet little outdoor area along the front sidewalk. Richard is just upstairs and was responsive to our requests. He is willing to recommend activities and to drive guests with luggage. He picked me up from my river cruise dock when I arrived and dropped me off at the train station on the day I left. His fee for driving is very reasonable. The apartment is only a few steps from the Metro line and also the trams, making it very easy to get around. Walking is also easy from this central location. The neighborhood felt very safe. A grocery store and bakeries are close by. All in all, I would recommend this apartment for exploring Amsterdam. Thank you, Richard!
