Rebecca could not have been nicer and done more for us. Great location to many great sights and activities.

Rebecca was very welcoming and kind. She made excellent sweet rolls and let us have late check-out. The lodging was very quiet, clean, and had many amenities. The view to the water and the fire pit were wonderful and the boats were an extra bonus! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you very much!

This amazing, whimsical property was selected from 100’s for our first night stay in Alaska within a reasonable drive from Anchorage. Photos told us the ascending steps at Stormy Hill Retreat would be difficult for our knees But we could see the experience of awakening to the wide open Alaska view would be worth it. And, it was. Utterly breathtaking.Rebecca allowed us to have Amazon ship provisions and a cooler to her street address! This meant we did not need to stop at WalMart when our flight landed. Everything we needed came from Amazon and was waiting at carport. Rebecca accepted our invite to come upstairs to visit before our departure. Delightful visit and extremely helpful travel counsel .

This is a gem! The host was easy to communicate with and went the extra mile to ensure that we felt right at home. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was a lovely place to stay and was extremely close to all of the fun things to do in Palmer/Wasilla area. The hosts are also amazing!!

Excellent property nicely decorated with a bear theme and everything you need for a great stay! Wish we had more than one night to stay and enjoy the lake and fire pit also.Only problem we had was WiFi password provided on refrigerator list of instructions did not work…possibly changed ?

Beautiful place, stairs were the only drawback

We enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the landing for the stairs and watching the sunrise. We also saw several planes take off. We felt like we were at a remote location in Alaska, but we had all the comforts of home. We are tall people and the shower is small, worth the stay, just be prepared. I would stay here again and again. You need to be physically able to carry your baggage up an outdoor stairway.A great place to stay in the Mat-Su Valley.

Top notch

This location was absolutely unparalleled. The mountain scenery was breathtaking and we loved the ability to paddle around the lake and do a bit of bird watching. We could have stayed for a full week and had a full docket of hiking. Rebecca was also such a a lovely attentive host. She made sure we had the fire pit set up and were stocked with cocoa for a picturesque night in.

Everything was wonderful. Property is cute and clean. Rebecca was super nice and Jack is adorable. We had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at Rebecca’s. Very clean, all the amenities you could need, and views to die for! Rebecca was very sweet and even made us fresh cinnamon rolls! We would not hesitate to stay here again!
