Small studio in private green alley in the heart of Paris

We'd stay here again in a heart beat. The property owner lives above and was very kind and available for assistance if needed. So clean and quiet yet close to 3 metro lines so everything in Paris is easy to get to. Backs onto the Marais area with many beautiful old streets to explore. The small kitchen has everything to prepare light meals which we often did. We purchased the decouverte navigo transit pass at the airport upon arrival and it was perfect for our week long stay. We saved lots of money with the pass and travelled far and wide and often with the Paris transit system! This property was like a little oasis following our busy days of exploring Paris.

So many things to like about this property! Close to a lovely part of Paris, this property is convenient for both shopping and taking the metro. The host was responsive to our questions and had much information and maps available to us.

Lovely studio with private alley but also very easy access to several metro stations. Highly walkable neighborhood with multiple cafes, boulangeries, grocery stores, etc. On Thursday and Sunday mornings there is a huge market within 5 minutes walk with many vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, etc. The studio size is perfect for a couple and the kitchen is small but fully functional and stocked with dishes, etc. The area is very quiet despite being in the middle of everything and is not too touristy, giving a good flavor for how locals live, shop, and entertain.

Clean, safe, quiet, convenient to multiple metro lines. Walked to the Opera Bastille.

The room was very comfortable and cosy with lots of natural light, kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, had a charming French ambiance. Great location close to metro, shopping, dining, and access to major attractions. Hostess was friendly and very helpful in the lead up to our arrival and during our stay. All round it was great!

Catherine was such a kind and accommodating host! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our 5-night stay in Paris. It was a darling apartment in a wonderful neighborhood, not to mention an amazing value!!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Paris!

The location was very quiet and secure, the unit had all that was needed.

This was a wonderful studio apartment. Not far from anything. I had a wonderful time and would be happy as clam to come back and stay.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable week in this lovely studio apartment on our first trip to Paris! We appreciated all the conveniences that the studio is equipped with including a small refrigerator and microwave, the luxurious bathroom and the close proximity to numerous metro stops. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in a secluded, private alleyway with lots of foliage!

My room was great! A little problem with sugar ants. Otherwise thank you.

This was our first stop in a 12 day visit to France. The apartment was comfortable, safe and quiet. It was near the metro which made all visits to famous sites easy.

Perfect location for our week in Paris! Within blocks of three Metro stops, making it easy to travel throughout the city. Restaurants and groceries nearby. Loved the small kitchen area and lovely view of green alley outside. Very quiet space and perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Hosts were super accommodating to our needs. I stayed in this comfortable little flat in the middle of February, and the online description was still true: it was a lovely, little oasis in a green courtyard. I bet it's even more incredible further into the non-winter seasons. It would be hard to improve on the location: within easy walk of three metro stations and of 'Le Marais'. The neighborhood feels safe and lively, and there are beautiful restaurants nearby. Catherine and Serge were lovely and helpful.

This VRBO is in the 11th arrondissement, very close to two subway stations. The unit was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little studio, very clean and very well stocked if you want to cook. This is not a tourist area so you’ll have peace and quiet, yet a friendly interesting neighborhood. Easy to get around with the Metro just steps away..

I've rented many properties in Paris and this was one of the cutest! It's small but comfy. The location was really pretty. The owner was also very nice. I would definately recommend this studio.

The owner met us when we arrived and provided a lot of helpful information. Very nice neighborhood with lots of cafe's nearby.

My husband and I had a great stay here. There are many metros nearby as well as bus lines. Host was very responsive. Beds were very comfortable, bath was very nicely done.

I really liked this property. It is located in a locked private walkway that is the exactly what you would hope a small flat in Paris would be. Picturesque cobble stone, architecture, flowers and shrubs. The apartment had cookware, cutlery etc. Everything we needed to fix a small meal. The beds very so comfortable I wanted to take it home. The location was great! Lots of subway stops nearby and a beautiful promenade all the way to the Bastille, and the cost was much less than I was expecting to pay. I visited Paris in 2011 and stayed in a smaller flat and still paid more for it. Overall, I would rate it excellent!

Lovely secure and quiet spot. Visited during a heat wave and had to check out early do we could find some a/c. The temp was +36 so really warm in the apartment.

We had a wonderful time, super host, great communication and very helpful with everything. The apartment is perfect for two and very quiet but at the same time in the middle of Paris! We would definitely come back!

Quiet and quaint

I actually didn't stay at the property. However, I booked it for my 21 year old daughter and her friend, both college students , who stayed for 10 days. They enjoyed the excellent location of the place and I appreciated Catherine's prompt and friendly help and responses to my many questions.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at this property. Catherine is a great host with good English. It was a very convenient location close to the Richard-Lenoir metro station. There is a supermarket just around the corner. When we come back to Paris we would like to stay here again.
