Stayed Jun 14, 2024In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!

Stayed Apr 27, 2024The room was as to be expected according to pics displayed, but there was nil privacy. Attached to the main house, the walls are paper thin so every sound can be heard. Woken up by tractors and owners working out the front of our room. There was no fenced off area so the pets could have a little outdoor freedom or to come and go when nature calls. We were booked in for three nights but left and booked elsewhere in Bendigo after the first night. Forfeiting the cost outlayed for 3 nights, was minor, compared to our peace of mind and privacy and normal freedom expected from a pet friendly establishment. Very disappointed.
