located just 3 miles from Rickets Glen State Park

Clean room,frienndly staff!

The room wasn't the cleanest. There was dust/debris/stuck on stuff on the floor near the bed. No TV in the room which I didn't realize. Being in the middle of nowhere and dark around 6 pm doesn't leave much to do. The Continental breakfast was lacking and the breakfast room was just a cluttered area with some coffee and not much actual food. There were some random people outside in the back around a fire arguing and the one guy was wandering around the parking lot after dark when we returned from getting dinner. It was very odd and kind of unsettling.Karen was very nice, but I would not stay here again.

Perfect location to explore Ricketts Glen and having a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle. Plus the hospitality is so welcoming! Definitely recommend!

I checked in and then left almost immediately. I checked for bedbugs (which I always do), and pulling back the sheets, I saw that the mattress had a large stain that looked like blood, as well as many other smaller stains. There was white powder on the stains so I assume the owner was trying to absorb the liquid. There were also huge pee stains. The floor of the room was very dirty. Smaller complaints: The listing said there was A/C, but there wasn't any. The listing said it's 3 miles from Ricketts, but in fact, it's a 17 minute drive.

GREAT unexpected bluegrass bands on Saturday night

This was our second time back and we enjoyed our stay again. The area is quiet and peaceful and very close to the park. Thank you Karen!

If you’re looking for a great home kinda feel look no further. Karen and her staff treated us like family for our 2 night stay. The rooms were perfect size for my girlfriend and I and the bed was super comfortable. Parking was super easy, unloading/ loading was no issue. The meals that we had were great and the prices were more than fair. If you’re in the Benton area and looking for a place to stay DO NOT I repeat DO NOT look any further!!
