Large house, ensuite being renovated so toilet and hand basin available only,1 tiny aircon to service entire house when a couple of days were low 40’s, no wifi, no message re how to get in property prior to arrival, we had to hip and shouder front door to gain entrance, no newspapers although promised to be daily, very dirty carpets, hosts’ message bank full after we contacted them a number of times. Finally answered stating they didn’t know wifi not working. Still didn’t get fixed. Garden looked like perfect place for snakes to breed. Food left for breakfast average. Shower in main bathroom good, towels shabby with lots of threads pulled on them. Beds clean and comfortable . Overall disappointing.

No communication to how we could access property on arriving and no reply to messages. Property was in poor condition, coffee machine, heating all broken furnishings very old and couch and beds very uncomfortable. Advertised as 2 Bathrooms. One was still being renovated, holes in the walls, but could use the toilet in there. Gardens all over grown and needing TLC. One positive was that the breakfast provisions provided were excellent, they covered everything you could think of.

The location was excellent and the breakfast provisions and extras such as a bottle of wine were great. However, the property is advertised as “luxury” with 2 bathrooms and a BBQ. The ensuite was “currently unavailable “ which clearly it has been for well over a year if not longer according to previous reviews. The BBQ was dirty and rusty so unusable. The WiFi was piggy backed from the house behind the property so was very hit and miss. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The house was very dusty. The house is old but with some TLC and maintenance it could be really good but it should not be advertised as luxury and 2 bathrooms with an asterisk saying 1 was “currently unavailable “ within a long list of amenities in the fine print. There was also black mould on the ceiling in the family room.

Nice property (is quaintly dated and no ensuite shower available at present) but has eveything you need for a short stay. One of the rare B&Bs that includes wonderful breakfast provisions and local bottle of wine and fruit. Lovely quiet locaton and McLaren Vale is a great area to visit. An enjoyable stay.

Jessica’s place is like stepping into Nana’s house. It’s eclectic, well stocked and comfortable. Hosts made us very welcome and the place was very clean. Will be fantastic when the renovations are completed. Will be back.

Very relaxing and quiet location. House having maintenance done in ensuite which only found out 10 minutes before arrival. House needs a little TLC to return to a 5 star stay , but still recommend it

House was perfect for the four of us, lots of breakfast provisions and the cheese and wine was a great touch. Fabulous location, in walking distance to main road. We had a great time!

Disappointed that the outside had been let go - Grass not mowed, weeds not trimmed, dog poo not picked up - Unable to have wedding photos outsideEnsuite unavailable due to renovation but no reduction in price

Great location, plenty of room for everyone. Breakfast provisions were truly generous and everyone enjoyed their Cereal, juice, coffees, bacon, eggs, bake beans and toast. Owners very friendly and helpful providing a guide to their home and how heaters etc worked. Look forward to coming back here again.
