Cute place, our room was pretty small, bathroom really small. TV on top of the dresser, you couldn’t really watch from the bed without ending up with a sore neck. Otherwise pretty clean. Reasonable breakfast. Area around the house was questionable. Everything looked super old. Limited availability for restaurants.
We enjoyed the breakfast conversation with other guests. People seem to come to bed and breakfasts with the intent of meeting and talking to strangers. So refreshing and interesting!
Very quaint and comfortable stay!
Beautiful b&b with tons of character. Very comfortable atmosphere, nicely decorated. Recommended
Nice old house, def liked that we had our own bathroom. The hot tub would be my only complaint. Not ideal, didn’t look clean or usable
The AC wasn't working properly. It was HOT. Otherwise, nice.
I thought I was booking a traditional bed and breakfast. This was not the case. There is no innskeeper. A management company services the property. The neighborhood is sketchy. The inn shares a driveway with the neighbors in a crowded run down neighborhood. The power went out one night and the internet went out the other night. It just wasnt quite what I was looking for. The bathroom was impossibly small. One day we had breakfast at the house as advertised l. It was wonderful. Later I was told the next morning we would have to drive to the management company's office to get breakfast an hour later than advertised. All of these are little problems but added up it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Would not recommend.
The property was nice! Other guest were easy to converse with. Small problem with lack of communication with management and where we picked up the keys. Otherwise, all was good!
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Rose room for a night and had an excellent stay! The check in location was easy to find and the process painless! We ate at a recommended restaurant and had a great meal. The room was clean and the house was stunning. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the chef was so sweet! The house is working walking distance to Main Street and so charming and historic. Would stay here again!!
Loved it!
Wonderful overall experience. Unfortunate that we had to leave the house for breakfast during the week, but the food was delicious, and the staff friendly. Please check the accuracy of the hot tub temperature.
A beautiful historic home that is relatively close to Hocking Hills. Beautiful architecture with spiral staircase, high ceilings, sink in the room and list goes on. Clean, comfy beds and peaceful atmosphere. One of my fav parts is the awesome hottub which is amazing after chilly days of hiking. Thank you :)
A good location to dinning and markets quaint town.
I came with my mother and niece. Everything was smooth checking in. The host of the BNB was a wonderful gracious host. I do plan on going back soon.
Perfect for my day tripping motorcycle rides. Left each day w a full belly. Great selection and fresh too. A/c was ice cold. Had to use a blanket. Made for great sleeping. Plenty of hot water. Bed was adequate. Very quiet area. And fellow guests were like church mice. All in all a good value. Did I mention the breakfast? Eggs each day. Alternating bacon and sausage. One day French toast, then potatoes, the sausage and biscuits! Too it off with an ample bowl of fresh fruit and all the fixings. Can you tell I like breakfast?
The property and owner were great, just as advertised. The location of the property was well suited to our purposes of exploring the area on a motorcycle. The property owner was also very helpful with helping us a figure out where to go in Athens to start the Windy 9 motorcycle routes. Would highly recommend this property, it was very quiet and a great place to relax after 200+ miles per day on a motorcycle.
A great place to stay if you are visiting Hocking Hills State Park-only 30 miles away. Loved our room and the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking.
The house was charming and comfortable. We felt at home and enjoyed the breakfasts especially.
We loved the B&B for a mid week get away. Hospitable and friendly community plus close to all things nature.
