Stayed May 30, 2021Breakfast was supposed to be included but no one came to fix the breakfast. Guest soaps and shampoo were so small and did not lather in the shower. Remote was difficult to use with no instructions. Had to check in at another location. Host not on site. Cigarette butts all over front porch. Very few restaurants in town.

Stayed Sep 20, 2019Loved how clean and spacious the room was...we stayed in the Lilac Room, which had both a king and queen bed, plus extra comfy chairs and pillows. Did not realize we needed to bring our own showering products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), but luckily I had done so anyway. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We even walked down to a local bar to watch some football and it was very convenient. Parking was very easy also. Easy drive to Athens, which was our destination for the visit. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious at The Hyde House also.

Stayed Nov 18, 2025The bed was comfortable. The bathroom rug was dirty, and the shower could have used a good deep cleaning. We did see a mouse on the chair one evening. There was no dresser or closet. It would have been nice for unpacking your clothes.

The lady who made breakfast was also very friendly and answered any questions any guest had. This was a perfect place for our trip. The house was beautiful. We all agreed we would stay there again.
